The single debuted at #8 on Oricon Daily Ranking. (Although I know not to expect too much about the numbers, I still wished a miracle would happen. Anyway, considering those strong competitors (read: L'Arc~en~Ciel|#1, EXILE|#2, Hikaru Utada|#3,...) up there, #8 is probably not too bad. Now let's hope it'll stay relatively steady for several days.)
(Suna wo Kamu You ni... Namida debuted at #5, and Ki ga Tsukeba Anata #2. But it's not too wise to do this comparison anyway.)
松浦亜弥らしく、自分の道をまっすぐ突き進む・・・
という力強い想いを込めて、この名前にしました。”

La Habra, California.WTF!!!! Today??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do you live?!Picked up my copy of Egao today.
Believe it or not, I bought it in a store! My friends and myself were in Downtown LA yesterday, and we swung by the KINOKUNIYA book store, and lo and behold they had it. I honestly wasn't expecting that at all myself! A pretty cool surprise, I gotta admit.
Oh, and if you guys think the cover is good, wait until you see the inside cover!

As regards the inside cover, thanks for the heads up; I've got a couple of oxygen bottles and inhalers ready, just in case

Bad idea, unless his name is "Aya" and he's "18" years old. Not impossible but unlikely!Nice fingernails, Alien. Will suggest them to my boss

I have the US release DVD (ex-blockbuster, bought off eBay, arrived 2 days ago).OMG!!
how is this movie?
All I can say is that as bad as it is, it's probably one of the better H!P related movie offerings I've seen.
We all know Aya can act, and she does a pretty good job with this drek. Rika and the girls from Viyuden are there also, and I have no complaints about them. But I think it's a little odd when the so-called professional actors in a movie are out-acted by a quartet of pop stars.
The story is just absurd and relies on the fact that nobody ever asks the right questions, or does any of the obvious things. Large chunks of this film as just so embarrassing that I watched them with my hands over my eyes, groaning. The opening scenes in New York were so bad that I almost gave up on the film right there.
But some of the later fight scenes are entertaining enough. And the girls all look great, so...
C+?
One of the things that's interesting is that the actors seem to look away from the camera a lot when they're talking, perhaps anticipating that the film would be dubbed for foreign markets. And the English dub is not entirely awful. The Voice Over artists seem to be of a higher quality than many of the Japanese actors on-screen.

"Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane."

LOL! I rushed home, scanned the insert, posted it and then listened to the songs! I couldn't resist !!!Ahh! You beat me to it! Its pry for the best though, since my scanner is of such "high quality"
Anyway, the problem with scanning, sometimes, is that the paper itself on which covers are printed is not of such good quality, thus, the scan ends up a bit messy. The above scans are a good example. Scans from photobooks are ten times better (=better paper), although I do engage the same hardware, resolution etc. Oh, I'm off topic...
