...Well, thats my beloved treasure. I was able to acquire all of it (semi-)locally, but I think I'll change that and pre-order her new single and album online.

Wow, Saturn, you must work hard to find such things as photo books and DVDs in your local area!

I do not have collection of souvenir items like you guys, I purchase only albums not singles and I also purchased most Japanese albums locally in Asahiya book store in Torrance and Kinokuniya in downtown, although recently I discovered that ordering from on line source is much cheaper. I have some movies and TV shows etc. but I got them from on line too, much cheaper. Truth: Matsuura is my favorite Japanese singer and she is very fine actress, but I think you guys are fall in love with her, yes? but I did not, please excuse me.

P.S. to Matt: I think you will become famous in eBay!

I just watched the Egao video (yeah, I know, old news for most of you).

Full disclosure: I'm not really a GAM fan, Miki kind of rubs me the wrong way, but I loved Naked Songs and all of Ayaya's older stuff. And this is actually Aya's first solo single release since I discovered the whole H!P universe, so I was really looking forward to it. The video itself is just beautiful. Aya's voice is better than ever. I swear that woman has more talent in her little finger than the rest of the Project put together.

That said...


Am I the only one who thinks the song itself is a little, well, blah? Maybe it will grow on me. I'll listen again to it at work tomorrow, give it a chance to seep in.

I'm all in favour of her going for a more mature sound. I'm sure she doesn't want to be stuck doing perky for the rest of her life. But surely that doesn't have to mean dull, right?

i kinda feel the same thing. the song in itself isn't really that amazing, what amazes me is that Aya succeeds to seap out every drop of goodness in it and add some to make it one frickin' awesome song.
