I'm watching a new idol anime (currently airing) called Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu, and the ending song (for the first episode at least) is Momoiro Kataomoi It's a really pleasant surprise.

Not an update, just want to share my feelings about Ayaya.

 

I was just discovering Ayaya last year. Actually I knew H!P and has been part of this fandom since 2012-ish, but I only focused on current groups at that time. When Berryz and C-ute starts to mature up and their songs don't suit my taste anymore, I kinda leave H!P to Kpop. Last year, pandemic makes me had to stay at home for like almost a year and the only thing make me sane is going through H!P old music. That's when I found Ayaya through many YouTube videos and translations from Hennka.

 

Even though it has been more than 5 years since her retirement, her contents on YouTube always warms me up. Is it something normal when an idol can have new fans beyond his/her time? I admire her way to talk to fans, her attitude, her music, and so on. Catching a newest, smallest news of her makes me in hope, who never had the time "together" to see her performed live (even online).

 

Read her previous interviews also make me glad that she's continue to be the best mother she could for her children and family and I really respect her choice. I hope someday I (and we all) can still be a part of history when she comes back for even a smallest performance. Until that time, I content to just watch her videos and listen to her music (which luckily most of them are available on Apple Music).

It's pretty cool that Takeshi Fujii would revise his Matthew Minami persona, even if it's only in an audio format. They really ought to bring back the old show, it was hilarious! And so cool to have Ayaya as the first guest.

I tried to find an old Matthew's Best Hit TV episode with Ayaya but I could only find this, an old episode of FUN with both Ayaya and Fujii as guests, right before his debut as Matthew Minami. They've known each other and worked together for 20 years!
