-I was listening to MOON PRIDE by Momoiro Clover Z and What is LOVE? was recommended to me, I listened and I loved it!

-I love learning about all the different members and their personalities, as well as watching kooky MVs, looking at the weird/cool costumes and the amazing songs!
 

4)In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

-For me, it's fan blogs. But I own like 3 so i'm a bit biased to that

-Maachan! I haven't been a fan for long, but I watched every MM MV in order and I have loved watching her change and grow, as well as push to the front, one single at a time! Also, her bubbly and charming personality is (imo) the best out of all the H!P idols I listen to

 

6)What H!P unit is your favorite?And why?

-Morning Musume (duh) because 1)my kamioshi is in the group, 2) Their songs are so cool and amazing and 3) they have the most interesting history of any idol group

-RihoRiho (SHE DOES COUNT AS A SOLOIST) because she was my former suboshi (oshi under Maachan) in MM and I just love her character and stage presence

-Damn how can I pick just one? Well in terms of single/album performance... it would have to be Utakata Saturday Night for the song because of it's

amazing upbeat sound (and my Zukki bias), as a single it would be Sakura Night Fever/ Chotto Guchoku ni!.../Osu!... because I love the different voices in Kobushu and SNF is my jam!. My favourite album is a tie between Fantasy 10 or 13 CC because they're the most memorable and cool MM albums

- No The downside of living in the UK is that H!P never performs here

1) When did you become a H!P fan?

Early 2007. Shortly before Kanashimi Twilight was released and Yossie graduated from MM. I still remember how confused I was with the Audition and Graduation thing back then. Especially because the information leak was so slow ...

I was watching some videos on Youtube on somehow ended up watching the Dance Shot of Berryz Kobo's Special Generation. And then got from one nice Dooh'Up MV to another   
 

3) Why you love H!P?

The music is great and it's something which makes me happy and looking forward to the next thing they do. And I like the girls.
 

4) In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

I don't know!? Trying to get informations, sharing your love for them, and trying to support them as best as you can!?

 

5) Who's your fave H!P member?And why?

Currently it's Maachan & Yumeno. Both of them got me hooked when I first saw them. Same thing happened choosing my Kamioshi; Gakisan.

If it's about the H!P Groups I would say Morning Musume, ANGERME, and Tsubaki Factory. I love them three.

Ayaya & Mikitty. No wonder I loved GAM

I can't decide of a Song. It always changes. I love INDIGO BLUE LOVE, Tokaikko Junjou, Tsuugaku Ressha, Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun, Yowamushi, LuLuLu, Melodies, Koi no Jubaku, and almost everything. Favorite Album is probably 4th Ikkimasshoi & 10 My Me.

Unfortunately not.

Probably stuttering like crazy even though most of them are younger than me. And I would just like to do something they like haha

Nope. Tried to attend the last one in France but couldn't go - and I tried to get tickets (lottery) for the AiGaki Event but wasn't lucky enough. It's a shame that H!P doesn't go to Europe anymore.

DVD's / Blu-ray's, CD's, Albums, Shirts (they don't had any I liked for a while now though), keychain's, and trying to collect all MM Group and Maachan Trading Cards.

I used to listen to K-pop more, and my favourite group was Kara. They started going on Japanese TV shows so I started to find out about AKB48. They were quite catchy so I dug deeper into the J-pop rabbit hole. I found some Morning Musume PVs on youtube, and the rest was history...

 

3)Why you love H!P?

 

1. The level of cheerfulness. The music never fails to cheer me up when I'm down.

2. The idols are so loveable! Not to diss AKB but I quickly moved on form them to H!P cos for some reason I couldn't find them that likeable. For H!P idols I just love all their performances, interactions, even fan service.

3. Quality. Good H!P songs are seriously awesome and I can keep listening to them for a long time.

 

4)In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

 

Hopefully by attending their concerts one day.

 

5)Who's your fave H!P member?And why?

 

Right now Fukumura Mizuki, Morito Chisaki, Hamaura Ayano, and Ogawa Rena. Not sure if there's a trend but I just love how cute and funny they all are, but also how good they are on stage.

Country Girls and Kobushi Factory are tied for me. Really love all their singles so far and the members are really cute together.

Mano Erina. Really adorable and I love her genki style.

1) When did you become a H!P fan?

 

In 2011 but it took me a while to become more invested in all of H!P... So I guess in 2012...ish?

 

2) How did you become a H!P fan?

 

It was 2010, I was a Pretty Cure fan and one day I was looking for OST from the series in a free music site. I stumbled upon a cute little song which became an instant favorite but the file didn't have the band's name, didn't have the title of the song and wasn't even complete!! It was just called something like "PreCure Movie Ending" (it didn't even specify which PreCure movie had used it as an ending). Not much of a help.

 

It was quite the (mini) Odyssey but after a year or so of being looking for the full song, I stumbled upon a MV and quickly took a liking to the cute and cheerful girls singing and dancing to the song (I had never seen something like that, I was amazed). And the rest is history.

 

The song was Berryz Kobo's Gag 100kaibun Aishite Kudasai.

 

3) Why do you love H!P?

 

The music is great and fun, the girls are cute, interesting... and fun so much that I wish I could be friends with my favorite members

 

4) In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

 

Aaah, buying stuff if I can? If I lived in Japan I'd go to their concerts and events and cheer the girls but I don't so as an overseas fan it's probably the most I can do. If I knew Japanese I could also translate stuff but currently I don't so... That.

 

5) Who's your fave H!P member? And why?

 

How dare you make me choose? D: Aaah, ok, I'll try. Since my favorite group is Berryz Kobo I consider my favorite member from that group to be my overall favorite. My top 1 favorite is Maiha but since she graduated early, the title of favorite went to Maasa (but I still consider/ed Maiha my top 1 member because she was adorable and I couldn't help but cheer for her... and everyone graduates someday, right?). Eeeh, but actually I have a top 4 members I love from BK which are Maiha, Maasa, Yurina and Momoko...

 

Told ya, I can't decide, I love them all (and that's not counting my favorites from the other groups).

 

I love Maasa because she's cool, funny and I like her voice (in my opinion, she's a pretty decent singer). She's also kind

 

I love Yurina because she gives me that feeling of being a very gentle person, I like her voice a lot, she's adorable really :3

 

As for Momoko: she's so cheerful and cute, I love her voice, I love her dancing, she always makes me smile and/or laugh. Momo was the first member thatcaught my attention when I just discovered Berryz.

 

6) What H!P unit is your favorite? And why?

 

As I mentioned above, Berryz Kobo was, is and will always be my favorite H!P group. There's something just so fun and lovable about them... I love 98% of their songs, I love the members, plus they were all great performers with pretty good vocals. I just have the most fun with them than with any other group. They're dear and special to me like no one else. If they hadn't been so fun and cute I wouldn't have become interested in H!P.

 

7) Who is your fave solo H!P artist? And why?

 

Matsuura Aya. I haven't paid much attention to the other soloists H!P has had but I like Ayaya's songs the best I guess.

 

8) Your Fave H!P song (or single or album)? And why?

 

Again, how dare you make me choose? T___T Ok, ok...

Berryz Kobo's cha cha SING - It was a cover yes, but that song had all the Berryz feeling/spirit, it's a song that never fails to cheer me up and a song of which I never get tired of. The girls looked AMAZING in the PV (Maasa, Yurina especially :3). I like the lyrics a lot too and the instrumental is great.

 

My favorite H!P Album is most likely Café Buono! or 1st Chou Berryz

Sadly, nope...

Tell them how much they make me happy and how much I admire them. Give them some little gifts, take pictures with them (if possible), have their autographs... Tell them they're cute and that I'm supporting them (how would I do this, I dunno because I don't know Japanese But let me dream, ok?)

I live too far away, aren't particularly wealthy and wasn't a legal adult until recently so... nope.

I was fan of V U Den long time ago, their videos were promoted on this anime channel Animax. At that time I did not know what H!P was, years later (late 2011) while looking for V U Den videos on YouTube I came across with a Morning Musume MV, it was Sexy Boy and I immediately fell in love with it! Then I listened to Koi no Victory and the rest was history, around early 2012 I was looking forward to Morning Musume and then Berryz Kobo

I had a feeling I’d like J-Pop and tried looking some stuff up on YouTube. I found Morning Musume and was instantly hooked.

The first thing I saw was Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari. I was struck by all the different personalities and the sense of them having so much fun doing it. I then found Sakura Mankai, and thought it was the most beautiful thing ever.  

 

3)Why you love H!P?

It’s like liquid fun. If you’re having a hard day, it can get you up for it again in seconds.

 

4)In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

Always stay positive and be nice to people. Idols work hard to spread happiness in the world, and the fans work hard at giving them the strength to do it. It’s this two-way positive re-enforcement that is the essence of loving idols!

 

5)Who's your fave H!P member?And why?

I’m always thinking, who is my favourite, or my top five?, and it’s so tough to decide! Although I love all types of idols who bring different things to the show, I usually love the best singers the most. So my top 3 are Nacchi, Ai-chan, and Ayaya.

 

6)What H!P unit is your favorite?And why?

Although always with idols you get that bitter-sweet “if only they could have gone on longer” feeling, this is of course especially true of W. I feel like Non-chan really surprised me on their first album and their harmonies are just unbeatable.

7)Who is your fave solo H!P artist?And why?

Probably, at the moment, Aya. I think the journey she went on from the ultra-poppy slightly annoying? girl in Momoiro Kataomoi, to the amazing jazz-fused genius of the later albums is the biggest achievement that H!P ever made. Maybe this transition didn’t really make money for them, but I hope they’ve got the guts to do something like this again, and give a singer like Oda the chance to achieve the most she can. It’s heartbreaking that soloists seem to be out of fashion at the minute. Even if it doesn’t always show on the balance sheet, the prestige of the brand is itself very important, if hard to measure.

10 My Me.

Although we have started to call that golden period of Morning Musume the “Platinum” group, it’s really this album which stands out the most, I think. I really hope that one day they get a Platinum Musume reunion group going!

Of course, Ooki Hitomi is really the pinnacle, and makes you want to scream ROKKI MEMBAA MAJI SAIKOU non-stop for an hour!

No, only at a hand-shake. I always think, what if I just bumped into a graduated member on the tube or something, and someone like Mika Todd would be really happy that she got recognised in England, but that’s just in my head!

Honestly, come across as a bit weird?

11)Had you ever go to H!P concert(s)? If you had, what concert did you attend?

Just °C-ute in Paris at La Cigale.  Six hours queuing in the intense sun, enjoyed every tension-building second of it. When that first bar of “Treasure Box” started, that “it’s finally starting” feeling was incredible.

Mostly CDs and concert DVDs. I’d love to buy other stuff like magazine DVDs but don’t have the money or storage space, and music comes first.

I’ve not really got one. I couldn’t live without my “Rival Survival” DVD?

This year I want to try and get a real treasure and have a secret plan to try and steal one of the girls’ personal water bottles off the stage once the gig ends!!

Mostly the internet, yesasia.com. I’ve recently got Tenso’d and started to use e-lineup. Tsuyoshi-san’s “dora_ts17” store on ebay is constantly under surveillance!

15)Had you ever dreamed about H!P member(s) in your dream?

All the time.

Once I dreamed that Berryz Koubou were a real punk band, and that they had a hated rival band, except Momoko wasn’t in Punk Berryz Koubou, but in the other band. There would be massive proper fights between the rival fans at gigs. One day, the fans set fire to the venue, and the other band decided they’d had enough and quit.

Then, Captain Saki surprised the whole world by inviting the hated rival Punk Momoko to actually join Punk Berryz Koubou. It was a moment of real leadership from the Captain to recognise that Momoko would make them complete.  

They went on to conquer the world, playing stadium gigs in America in front of hundreds of thousands!!!

I always wanted to see this dream made into a movie.

I also had a Battle Royale dream where all the actors were from Hello Project. At the end, only Maasa, Momoko and Maimi were left. But Momoko survived after Maasa sacrificed herself to kill Maimi and save Momoko. Momoko ‘won’ and was the only survivor, but had a real hard time living with it afterwards and wished that Maasa had saved herself instead. Again – movie rights people! ?

I casually went into this video (https://www.youtube....h?v=D4EKdNs9A2s) and became hooked to Morning Musume。 and the TV channel :-) But I think I searched AKB48 the year before... because they went to Japan Expo the year before. I kind of remember saying "wait, what is that? AKB48? Sounds like a company name" and became interested in idols. Yeah, something like that. As for why I began going to Japan Expo... no, not at all related to manga or anime, I'm just living in the exact same city the convention takes place.

 

3)Why do you love H!P?

 

Well, at that time, the music. It brought something different. It was at a time I wasn't into music. Well at least, not into the music I knew. And then I followed the 9th and 10th gen, the change to EDM in 2012, and "yeah, it's good!". And after that new things happened, it's like a drama. And I'm still here. That may be related to the fact that I'm still single, but never mind.

I didn't have a favorite member or a oshi until very late. Like, until Morning Musume。's latest single. Now, Maria. Do I have to explain why? Really? Seriously, I think she really blossomed in this single.

Morning Musume。 I'd say, historically, I became hooked with them, and then I discovered Berryz Koubou and °C-ute at that time. And then the entire Hello!Project.

I don't have one favourite song/single/album, really, all I can say is that I have a few memorable songs from each group. (not saying that the other songs are bad, just that these ones strike me the most)

From the little I experienced from the Platinum Era, Fantasy ga Hajimaru, Onna to otoko no lullaby, I'd say. And after that, no idea, not that the songs weren't as good, just that I can't pick one. But yeah, let's say Renai Hunter that was my first whoa from colorful era, and then, One Two Three, Wagamama ki no mama ai no joke, Toki wo koe sora wo koe (well, not that I really liked it, it just came at a moment I was feeling really low, it was the perfect song at that moment), Mikaeri Bijin, Utakata saturday night, Mukidashi de mukiatte, and I hope, the next single (Morning Misoshiru doesn't really count, that's just a revamp).

I was searching for anime music and Tokaikko Junjou was in a playlist and I was like obsessed with C-ute and I searched for more info in the Hello Project Wiki site and I discovered Morning Musume and the other groups.

I don't know why the H!P singles attract me so much and the members are actually so special, in a good way!

Trying to attend to concerts and buying their singles and albums.

I discovered H!P when I stumbled upon the songs "Ne-e?" and "Momoiro Kataomoi" by Aya Matsuura. I instantly fell in love with this genre of music and gradually found out the wonders of H!P.

 

3)Why you love H!P?

I love H!P not only because of its diversity in musical styles and amazing choreographies, but also because of its history and all of the different group formations. I also love how each idol has their own distinct personality and the general enthusiasm of each fan.

 

4)In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P?

Doing just about anything that's related to H!P! Learn dances, sing karaoke, buy merchandise, go to concerts and enjoy the H!P.

I actually have a few... I'll try to keep it short!

Mizuki Fukumura - Since all of the past idols that I supported have graduated, Mizuki fits the position of being my favourite current idol! She is so energetic in her performances and she is genuine when she speaks.

 

Risako Sugaya - She was one of the first H!P idols that I began to follow. She is so beautiful and I love her singing voice, as well as her live performances with Sayumi.

Berryz Kobo - They have the most fun songs and each member of the group is unique. I just love Risako, Miyabi, Momoko, Yurina and the 3 others!

Aya Matsuura - Ayaya is a legend within the H!P... her live performances are always filled with energy and joy! I really love her songs too.

Anaya Nashi dewa Ikite Yukenai by Berryz Kobo. I LOVE this song so much; it's pure perfection. Also, Akai Nikkichou by Akagumi4 is amazing!

I met all of the members of °C-ute in Paris this year. When I met Airi, I told her that she is my favourite member of °C-ute - she smiled and made a heart with her hands... I can die happily now!

H!P just has the type of music that I'm very fond of. I loved the early music they've produced and the current ones. I also love how MM'17 has progressed through the years and how every H!P member has grown up to be more skilled.

3)Why you love H!P? Their music is genius, and the girls are all unique in a lot of ways, easily distinguishable in both personality and looks. H!P never loses its musical roots -- music and lyrics are the core of H!P, and it will forever remain, even when Tsunku passes on, they will continue it in his spirit.
4)In your opinion, what's the best way to show your love for H!P? It depends on the person. There's not one way. Some people just prefer to do it internally. Personally, I like to post about it on Facebook and watch concerts and footage in my room.

basically i was on twitter (when i still had it lol), and at the time i was going through like a huge kpop phase so i had a lot of idols on my timeline, and i saw a clip of suzuki airi's "escape" pv (i also think i might've searched up "buono" out of curiosity since i remembered them from shugo chara and found the clip that way, but i don't remember exactly). i fell in love with the song and airi right when i watched it, and did some searching around to find the song. once i found out she was a member of buono, it was all over for me lmao i fell straight down the h!p rabbit hole
3) Why you love H!P?

for a lot of reasons, but i think the biggest is that it's not afraid to be weird and fun! h!p has songs like pop music, pyocopyoco ultra, atsui!, oh no ounou, the list goes on. even though they're idols they always try weird stuff and concepts and i really love that chaotic vibe lol. also because the idols are really talented!! h!p has so many good singers/dancers/performers, i really love the quality of the performances and the music.

beyooooonds! they were one of the first groups i got into when i discovered h!p, and i just fell in love with them. not only are they super cute and unique, but they're also really weird and always show it in their music and performances. plus, all of the members are talented and fun to watch, not one stands out over the others (well that's debatable but i can see any of them being faces of the/a group) and they just have a really cute dynamic
