Enka needs a Britney Spears like character to come and spice things up with some overt sexuality and cause a little controversy to get people interested again while Yuki remains as a real talent in the genre. Like Christina Aguilera, she looks good but can really sing too.

Well all of this sounds great but i cant say i can see it happening. Anyway has anyone seen the video (if there is one) to her latest single ? Also does anyone have any idea who she has signed up with as apparently she will be with another record label as soon as she leaves HP.

I haven't heard or seen any news about a PV for her latest single and taking into account the low sales it's unlikely there may ever be one.
But as far as her signing with another record label I heard a rumor on another board that she in now NOT leaving H!P.... Keep in mind this is just a rumor!

Well if thats the case then great prehaps one day i can still get to see her do a duet with Yuko Nakazawa. I just hope if this is correct that she will get more airtime.

She appears on very little although i do have her on a few of my fanclub dvds which was a bonus.

Would be an interesting experiment... give her a lot more exposure and see if her sales rise.
Has Yuki ever toured? Maybe dinner shows are more the suited to the Enka style though.

I really don't know if she's done solo shows... of course, she has toured with the H!P crew. She's done the big mixed shows and sung her own songs at a few of them.

The thing is she always gets such a great response from the crowd when she sings but for some reason she just dont get the sales. Pity really Yuki Maeda is great.
