umnnn actually a have of favorite ost!!! hopin to get a portable mp3 player so i can listen to it anytime!!! a portable dvd player was not advisable when your commuting or just wandering around the mall so im looking forward on buying a mp3 player

I tend to watch an anime, and hear the theme songs, then if I like them, which I usually do, I buy the soundtrack.

lol lately i've been rewatching Prince of Tennis eps (not really to study their forms but to get myself fired up for matches and stuff...) and i found that listening to their opening dream believer (their 7th one) has really been pumping myself up...anyone else have songs that do that to you?

I listen to a lot of different anime music, usually OPs and EDs, sometimes BGM. Right now, I really like Naruto: Shippuuden's BGM, it has changed a bit, if I compare it from the previous OSTs, I think.

I'm pretty sure that if I had heard the Haibane Renmei soundtrack before I actually watched the anime I would've ran out and bought the series right away. Wonderful, wonderful soundtrack and also my favorite anime. Also, I really enjoy the Rahxephon soundtrack.

it does...one good way to check out new artists, this is seriously one of the best ways to become known get urself a gig as the singer of a anime theme...it's one way i learn about new j-pop artists

Used to, when I would go jogging (when I used to jog) I would take along an mp3 player of anime music. My favorites were mostly from Hikaru No Go. Since then, I decided to start listening to Jpop. of course, that led me to H!P. Well, later on, I found out about Team Dream, then about the group Dream. They sang like half the songs in Hikaru no Go. So I ordered their concert. The first song they sing is "Get Over." They also sang some other anime songs, but I can't remember which right now. Anyway, shameless plug, but if you like anime music, you should download the Dream concert I uploaded at sendspace.

i like a lot of older anime music since most of them actually relate to the anime. still a lot of the newer music is also good. my favourite anime songs come from either fist of the north star or galaxy express 999.
