Thanks Hollerama. We observed similar patterns within H!P in general. There are members whose singing skill is not the best but their performances always make you want to watch: Maa-chan, Kawamuu, Omizu, Shiorin, Natsume (New Group). Among old KSS, Kisaki is still behind members like Hirayama Yuki, Kitahara Momo and Yofuu Runo in terms of singing, but her performance (singing, dancing and expressions in combination) always makes you want to check out for the second or third time. It doesn't mean that her singing is not good, it just means that her singing is not at the top. The main point is, she knows how to maximize her ability in her performance. That is another thing really attractive to international fans.

Okay guys, what an unexpected results for me, but that's the most interesting thing, the surprise aspect.

My comments for JJ, Ichika-chan was on my expectations, she's pretty mature and fit into JJ style. Next Kisaki-chan. Well, as most of the people guess, Runo chan will fill this spot, but dang.. They put in the other way i guess the "Miyamoto Karin award" from the test, give us clue why she put in the group. And last one Ieri Risa, from the audition. Being the only member from audition, i guess she has something special like vocal or dance skill, considering she's put into JJ.

For Tsubaki, the 3-new members from the audition were cute, and visual-wise fit into Tsubaki's image of Cute innocent girl. I can't comment more since there's no other information available until now. For Runo-chan, i guess she's the one that Tsubaki need. Cute young member with outstanding skill.

In summary, I'm happy about the results, although one of my favorite didn't debut yet (Hirayama Yuki). Beside this happiness, I'm also worried that some of the current lineup in JJ or TF will have to graduate soon.

I feel like Tomoki’s definitely going to graduate soon, and maybe Aari as well (she’s been around for a long time…) but I don’t see any of the other members leaving anytime soon.

I think with Tsubaki it could be that someone graduates or that management just likes really big groups right now.

I’m also sad Yuki didn’t debut but I’m hoping this means she’ll get put in Angerme or MM next year.

I'm super pumped about the J=J additions! My favorite H!P member right now is Kudo Yume and my favorite kenshuusei member was Ebata Kisaki so it's super cool that they're both in the same group. Also, from what I've seen of Ichika she's also really funny and Risa is very pretty and I'm excited to see why she was chosen as a J=J member, since they're known for always having talented members. Yuno being chosen for TF was surprising since I was also really convinced she'd debut in either the new unit or J=J, so it'll be interesting to see her there. 

 

Another thing I though was interesting was how they didn't reveal member colors right away. Since ANGERME's new gen got their colors when they were revealed I was hoping it'd be the same for J=J and TF but since they didn't, I wonder if they'll maybe wait for some members to graduate before assigning colors? So the colors in each group stays rainbow-esque maybe?

Possibly! They do try to avoid reassign colours of recent grads though, so maybe they’re just finalizing the colours? Preparing merch??? Who knows!

 

Edit: trying to predict the colours now, because I'm still excited about the auditions and bored of work at the same time:

With Juice=Juice it's trickier since they've got a lot of the primary rainbow, but I think Ichika will get yellow, and it's a toss up between teal, light blue, light green, or light purple for Kisaki and Risa.

For J=J, I don't think KNTM will go soon, she got an applause when she decided to brake the 25-year-old-age-limit for graduation. It's hard to predict Manakan's graduation. Aari will be likely to graduate soon. Now for the member addition: Kisaki got into J=J partially due to winning Karin's prize. I'm not surprised, though. Kisaki may even get Purple as a member color. Ichika fits J=J more than any other groups, and I predict that she will also play Yuka's role. And Irie Risa: I don't know but I sense that she will become a potential visual member. The current ones are Manakan and Reirei, but who knows, the manager can be very greedy.

 

For TF, I think I know why Runo got into TF. We think that since she has great vocal ability, she should get into J=J. However, she has TF vibe, very similar to when Omizu joined. However, she will be in a very awkward position, especially if she becomes an immediate front girl from the start. It's not her fault, but she's a good vocalist at a very young age, and her level is very near to Kishimon/Kiki/Omizu. IMO, it's really strange when a kouhai overshadows a senpai with such an age gap. Therefore, don't be surprised if the manager decides that she has to be in a shadow for a while despite her skill. Yume and Riai of J=J had to be in that position for a while until a year after their debut. But fear not, she'll become a main no matter what. Other 3 non-KSS really fit TF images, though, no further analysis since they're very new.

Yuumi was not sure what color, since it suited him a pink color but there are already two tones,

 

 

then thinking in another way, this also fits me:

Yes, at first Runo will not give him a big push, but it is normal and it would even be good for him until he adapts.

 

The nice thing is to see how little by little he integrates and gains importance and experience.

Potential risks analysis, J=J part:

- Tomoko (the oldest, most senior, the original members, but succeeded break the age-record as an Idol) -MEDIUM Risk

- Aari (the next original members survivor, upcoming leaders after Tomoko) -LOW to MEDIUM Risk

- Manaka (second oldest/will turn into 24yo this year, had an experience of illness in the past/Country Girls period, upcoming subleaders) -LOW to MEDIUM Risk

- I see no potential of graduation risks in other younger members, unless something extraordinary (scandal) happened

 

Potential risks analysis, TF part:

- The leader/Riko-chan (She's the oldest one, and will have some age-gap with the new members, buat her role is significant) -LOW to MEDIUM Risk

- Kisora (the second oldest until now, yet the upcoming sub-leader, Soon to be announced?) -LOW to MEDIUM Risk

- Ami (another one of the oldest) -LOW Risk

- I see no potential of graduation risks in other younger members, unless something extraordinary (scandal) happened

They added new members to JJ for a reason, they only recently lost Karin and Sayuki, and more departures will eventually happen. This was a great timing to add new members in my opinion, especially while Kanatomo is still there to help them settle in.

Tsubaki got three potential talented girls +  the best singer of Hello! Pro Kenshuusei

 

The new group got 4 being two of them the second and the third place best perfomance at the Shindan Test 

 

As a Juice=Juice fan I am disapointed and upset with this outcome considering this was their very first audition

Ouch, harsh. Juice=Juice got one of the most popular KSS (Ebata Kisaki) - perhaps even the most popular. And they got the one KSS fluent in English (Arisawa Ichika). Both of them won judges awards during the Shindan test. Juice=Juice already has tons of very strong singers and the members seemed pleased with the new additions. They're going to be just fine

Like a lot of people, i do feel like Runo and Ichika should've been switched around tbh lol, i'm also worried for Sakura now.

First, about 3 new members of TF, they do have looks that fit TF, but talentwise, we won't know until they perform their first song.

 

Second, among chosen KSS members, all but 1 of them got awards from the latest Shindan test. I think the only award that is slightly valuable than others is 1st place performance award. The others are considered equally valuable. Therefore, I don't think there is no disappointment regarding this.

 

I bet the only thing that you're disappointed is that Runo wasn't chosen as J=J member. I totally understand that the new J=J members don't meet your expectation, but I don't think it puts J=J at disadvantage compared to New Groups and TF. Ebata Kisaki is not far behind from Runo, and Ichika, besides her English skill, has a skill that is very rare: to produce the performance. Up until now, I only saw 3 members who have this skill: Sato Masaki, Kawamura Ayano, and Kiyono Momohime.

 

TBH, at first, I'm disappointed that Ishiyama Sakura wasn't put in J=J (future Aari) and Nakayama Natsume wasn't put in TF. But then, the final result was not disappointed at all.

I didn't notice Wakana is also that significantly younger than her gen mates (3 years younger). But at least she has Rin who is sort of a buffer (2 years older).

And Angerme has a different atmosphere than Tsubaki, maybe it's easier for Wakana to integrate compared to Runo.

I feel Runo will have to do quite abit of work to integrate, but her Kenshuusei experience should help.

Hopefully, Riko & Yumeno and likely Mao (since she is the youngest member until now) can help Runo and the new members to integrate well.

^Looks good in my opinion. I think Tsubaki could also use a darker, richer kind of green if they want to avoid white.

Now I understand why they added three new girls from the audition and Runo to Tsubaki. They blend so well and give that Tsubaki signature singing sound

(the audition process video for the winners of the Tsubaki audition is on this week's Upcoming episode, including them singing to Juice=Juice songs! Yumi is good enough as a dance front from the get-go but needs work on her vocals. She sounds flat for me

Yagi was wow. Love her vocals. Her dancing was also great given her ballet background. I won't be surprised if they push Marin to the front as well. Seems stable enough to perform as a co-lead though her vocals are more on the lower/deeper register which can really blend well with others.)
