I'm happy with the sales but I must be very sincere, the last Juice=Juice's single I liked A LOT was "KEEP ON joushou shikou! !  / DREAM ROAD~kokoro ga odoride shiteru~ / Ashita yarou wa bakayarou". I know it was out a long time ago but I didn't find special any of the singles that were out after.

 

I remember that I used to like Juice=Juice a lot when they released songs like "HADAKA no HADAKA no HADAKA no KISS", "Black Butterfly", "Senobi", "Wonderful World", "Ça va ? Ça va ?" but now I don't find their songs so special.

For me it's the other way around I was frustrated because I didn't like a lot of songs until Bitansan, but since then every single was a success for me.

As for me, there have been some singles where I only liked 1 of the songs, or the release as a whole grows on me after the fact. For the most part, I've consistently liked their music and particularly enjoyed the last few they've put out. The new members have really brought a new flavor to the group for me in contrast to the early stuff that was mostly the same 3 of Karin-Sayuki-Tomoko.

 

It's okay if J=J isn't suiting your taste   It's okay to not like every release. Honestly, I only like ~3 or 4 of Tsubaki's songs, and I just listen to other stuff otherwise. Just do what makes you happy.

It's similar for me. KEEP ON / DREAM ROAD was the turning point release where I really started liking pretty much everything they did.

Same here haha! I like the current single the least of all their releases since bitansan but I still enjoy it, especially Ganbarenai.
And, honestly, I loved Karin and Sayuki, they’re some of my favourite Juice=Juice members individually but I actually like the group better as it is now.

I guess when groups change for every fan they lose they gain a new one.

hi i'm incredibly late to this but i finally listened to the whole single and it's not exactly my thing but i kinda like it? i was interested in down town's city pop style but it sounds a little watered down. i still like it though, the chorus is catchy and rei's lines are nice. also it feels like a c-ute song for some reason. ballads aren't my thing unless it has the emotional intensity to match so ganbarenai yo didn't do much for me, but because i'm predictable ruru's solo version absolutely hits that intensity for me and i've had it on repeat lolll. the guitar in the background is nice too, i like the generally stripped down arrangement. i also really like rei's version.
