A new Hello! Project 'net TV drama starting 8/23 (repeat airings start 8/26).

"Hobonichi no Kaidan" is a long-running (approx 14 years) series of 'ghost stories I have experienced' and 'ghost stories I heard directly from those that experienced them'. The stories were collected and released as a book in August 2018. The drama will feature current and old members of Hello! Project.

Wow! This is interesting. But I am no fan of horror shows. But it's nice to see my favourite ex-H!P members in a show (Maasa, Captain and Mai).

Too bad that it seems like the girls are featured individually in each episode, wonder if the COVID-19 situation has any influence.

Would have been nice to see if 2 or more girls are involved in one episode.

 

It shouldn't come a surprise that Mai first solo foray is acting. She does seem to have a flair for it.

This is rather interesting! Especially the selection of members.

 

I am not surprised about Kurumin being selected for this as she was always focused on acting, originally being selected to debut in that 'theater troupe' that was eventually morphed into BEYOOOOONDS. Shiorin comes off a bit of a surprise though, but I feel like her looks are perfect for horror haha (not meaning anything negative by this, I really like her).

 

Kassa and Layla I don't know what to expect from but as I really like them both I'm looking forward to this! Happy about Nakky being in this too, and Maichan having a first real gig after CG disbandment.

I can't handle horror at all but if it's to see Nakky and Kurumin, I'll be brave and watch it.

The style of it reminds me of an old drama I partially watched with my mom, but I can't at all remember the name of it. I'll probably watch these even if they don't ever get subbed.

Nice for international fans to get a rare chance to see examples of the acting work Captain and Maasa have been busy doing the past few years since graduation, work seen otherwise mostly in stageplays. Looking forward to the other episodes with them, and the ones with all of the other girls.
