I thought of this after watching Solo Fes, since it's pretty much like a KSS Shindan Test: What if UF actually made new units from existing H!P members and actually give them the go signal to release a song, either physically or digitally?

 

So yeah, here's a thread of everyone in H!O in making their dream random H!P unit / Supergroup. A supergroup means it's a unit consisting of at least one member from a current H!P group.

 

Here are my ideas:

• A new dance/vocal supergroup focusing on powerful songs: Ruru, Rikako, Funakki, Oda, Saori, Rei, Nishida
• A unit for cutesy-type songs: Yokoyama, Mei, Yume, Minami, Rin
• A Hip-hop unit that would sing and rap - Ayumi, Momohime, Uemura, Miyo, Kamiko, Kaedii

If given the power to create a new unit/supergroup out of the current members, which one would you want to choose and what type of genre/concept they would mainly do?

I keep thinking about how I'd really like to see Yumeno, Mao, Rikako, Manaka, and Maachan in some kind of unit. To me, they have some of the most charisma and greatest visuals when performing, so I'd like them to do some sort of cool concept with powerful dancing and singing.

I think I'd like to see a unit, ft. Kaede, Takeuchi, Rikako, Yumeno, and Miyo, that performs Buono!-ish songs.

 

Though on the flip side I'd also be down for a unit that does songs in the style of v-u-den's "Shuwa Shuwa" or Ishikawa Rika's solo "Rikai Shite > Onna no Ko"; maybe with Mizuki, Yokoyama, Uemura, Ami, and Ichioka.

of course a buono revival unit, not like the same name and everything but y'know, a trio with a rock sound doing anime songs. i'm not really sure who i'd want in the group, but i feel like miimi, riai, and layla would fit. i've also been thinking about a similar fantasy unit where the girls did precure songs, with those same members + homachan and meichan because i'm a filthy 15ki stan. honestly though i'm super nostalgic for buono so i'd instantly love any unit h!p ever does that's even remotely similar to them lol
 
also this one's kinda dumb but basically, dance club as a real unit with singles and everything. of course they'd be performance based and mostly just a concert unit like they already are but i'd love to see them as an actual group that released edm bangers for singles every now and then, even if they were just digital singles or something. it'd be cool and they could dance to their own songs at concerts

 

oh and this is completely self indulgent but i think i would actually die if they made a vocal powerhouse (...for the most part) group with a rock style and ruru, chel, miyo, kishimon, and rikako as members. kinda like buono minus the anime stuff, and maybe with a more mature sound? i doubt anything like that would ever happen but this is about fantasies anyway so lol

So back in April I came up with this idea for Satoyama/Satoumi group where each member the group is represented by an endangered/near threatened/vulnerable animal and their color is based off the animal they represent.

 

The theme would have a natural and cute vibe.

Well, it's been more than 4 months since I first posted in this thread, and since then, I've come up with new ideas for H!P units, so here they are:

1. New Sakuragumi: Fukuchan, Eripon, Odasaku, and Yokoyan
2. New Otomegumi: Daaishi, Nonaka-chan, Makino-san, and Chii-chan
3. New Minimoni: Maa-chan and Kaedii
4. New Petitmoni: Akanechin, Kitario, Homatan, and Mei-chan
5. Lucky Crew (based on the four main protagonists of the Lucky Star anime): Take-chan (because, just like Izumi Konata from the Lucky Star anime, she comes from Saitama), Sayarin, Kurumin, and Eripon

OK, it's been...a while, but! Ideas:

1. A unit that's just Rio and Layla. I want to hear them do a duet of Mikazuki! The covers of their digital singles will look like science fiction action film posters. (Blue and orange I mean.)

 

2. Something cutesy with Yume, Minami, and Shiori. Their member colours will be hot pink, regular pink, and light pink.

 

3. A unit with Sakura, Ruru, Tomoko, and Takeuchi Akari. They can cover Def. Diva songs!

 

4. A unit with just Wakana and Runo. Idk what kind of songs they'll cover, probably ones that require crazy good vocals that gives you shivers. UF needs to find another crazy talented 13/14 year old vocal powerhouse and then they can be the next Buono! in 3 years.
