At times like these I realize I don't really listen to Jpop outside of H!P...

I'm on the same boat as you 

Only recognize a few names and even fewer songs...

^This is honestly a good time to check the playlist out! Really great songs UFP picked this time. Been checking out Showa idols lately (70s/80s) and I'm starting to realize why Shimakura Rika likes them so much!

 

^^ I'd dig Honoka on Piano then one of the Utahimes sing Planetarium!

All my favorites except Ami are on team B, so i'll support them a lot! Looks like theres a ton of songs I know but also a few that i don't so i'm gonna give them a listen

Overall I love a lot of the songs the girls chose to perform. Yet around 1/3 of them aren't really my cup of tea. The others though are amazing and there are more than just a couple ones I can't wait to see being performed by a h!p member. Hopefully skyperfect or someone else will announce they gonna stream the concerts. I bet a lot more than just the usual bunch of peopl will start to become interested in the girls if they see them perform such classics.

The only guess I have is for "Himawari no Yakusoku". My head went straight to Yuhane as soon as I learned it was used in a "Doraemon" movie.

I think Miki might get First Love and Kaede might get Kaede. Excited to see who gets Planetarium.

 

Edit: I've been listening through the list and they're all great songs! Not a boring ballad in sight.

 

Edit 2: I feel like they're probably going to get Sakura to cover Jupiter. And Sayuki to cover Mononoke Hime.

This should be really interesting! I hope they do a live broadcast, but maybe that requires different permissions from the original artists?

I'm particularly excited for Mikazuki, Planetarium and Hanamizuki!
