The day has finally come. In a few hours, Kobushi Factory will come to an end.

I'll be getting up early, early (US time) to watch it live. #こぶし伝説

 

They are the group that got my attention back on H!P after many years away.

I didn't realize it at the time, but I was in Japan on vacation when they debuted. (Maybe that meant they were destined to become "my group.")

I saw them in person three times. Once for a couple of songs at a Kenshuusei show (during the brief 6-nin window) and two times in Takamatsu last summer during my most recent trip.

I got super lucky and was ticket #1 for the first show last year, so I was right up against the stage, just a few feet from them.

I was in the middle of the room for the second show.

I had so much fun during those lives, waving my light, swinging my towel, wearing my Gu-chan ring.

And I met some really great fans between shows, too.

 

It was a fun five years. I hope they all find happiness in the paths they choose to follow after today.

It was an amazing concert I was playing strong but I lost it at the end with Shalala!, I'm going to miss Ayapan.

I got in when they were singing Kenmei Blues, and even though I missed the majority of it, I could still tell it was a great concert

I can't believe Kobushi Factory is gone now. I'm happy to have been along for the whole ride.

That could not have been easy for them to perform to an empty venue, but they did their best.

 

I hope someone translates the messages. I thought Sako might break during hers considering it's her last show ever, but she kept it together...until Kobushi no Hana. And of course, Ayapan was leader until the end patting her on the head. Such a sweet moment.

 

(BTW, I think we need those piano versions released.)

It was a great concerts. I broke more than once. When they announced "Kobushi no Hana" I thought "alright, last tears for today", but then they performed Shalala.

 

Man, I'm going to miss them.

i just finished watching the concert!! i teared up a bit while watching, and i thought i could hold it together till it was over but i started crying when they were saying their graduation messages, and even more during their final performances. i'm really going to miss kobushi they're my 2nd favorite idol group, it really hurts to lose them but i wish the best for all of the members in their future endeavors!!!

I find it cute that the pre-performance cheer included (presumeably) staff members as well?

It seems like this was forever ago, even though it hasn't even been 2 months. Anyway, did they announce any plan to release this on DVD/BD? Or is the TV version going to be all we get?

I was hoping for an official release to maybe see a little more behind the scenes on the day of the show and maybe the days leading up to it. Or did they considered that H!S episode to be enough?

They haven't announced the DVD yet, but I doubt they let the opportunity pass. They pushed back some of the latest DVDs by a month (from April to May) when the virus business really got going in Japan, so it may be that it takes them longer to announce any new product releases.

 

I think they could also announce it at any point in May or June and still be more or less on schedule for normal releases; if memory serves the DVD/BRs aren't usually announced for 2-3 months after the concert finale.

KF Staff apologized to ticket-holders for the non-entry of audiences in this concert along with the ticket refunds, and they gave a letter of apology and rolled a piece of metallic confetti from The Final Ring to each of those who were supposed to be in that day.
