Lovepedia is definitely a good song for MM in a long time. Very catchy, although some of the girls sound way too kiddish, but it suits the song in a way.

I am looking forward to the MV. I would imagine something very fun like "Utakata Saturday Night".

wow, i definitely love Lovepedia (recurring word, i know ),, 

the music transition is natural and fluid, catchy and the beat is rocking,, 

i hope they do this kind of music more and reducing EDM,, 

now i hope 15ki will featured in the MV and i hope it's will be fun MV,,

(also by extension i think i love no way way too because its basically same song , only differ in lyrics and composition,, )

Apparently the "KOKORO&KARADA" MV was filmed in September, "LOVEpedia" in October, and "Ningen Kankei.." in November.

Anyway, I listened to the Lovepedia radio rip and it sounds so nice!!! It gave that Utakata Saturday Night vibes - electronic style

 

I'm also surprised with the amount of Kaedii lines we got from this single -- from nowhere to be found, to one of the most prominent solos in 2/3 of the single. Clearly a future-proofing method since the oldest 5 members can go anytime soon, no?

I like LOVEpedia, but it's not like it's anything special or super catchy.
Considering this is the first single after a year with only one single and it being the debut of a new generation I'm pretty disappointed.

I feel like this was one of those years where management focuses on other groups and lets MM coast along. I think this year was all about Juice=Juice/Angerme/Beyooooonds in the music and promotions department. Angerme had new members and several member graduations. Juice=Juice also had two grads and some new members. Beyooooonds got their big debut huzzah. Even Country Girls, with their upcoming disbandment, have gotten quite a few promotions this year, considering they were cast aside after Momo graduated and then Yanagawa graduated.

 

MM and the Factories have largely been on the back burner riding on their own momentum, except for bones here and there. January will be be nearly a year between Tsuabki's major single releases. MM had Rock in Japan to bring in interest, as well as the new gen whom they've been slow to really promote. Kobushi seem to really be in the backest burner after all their scandals, but at least they got 1 single and an album this year.

 

I almost wonder if management will consider possible-Olympic promotions to be enough for MM and be lazy with them next year, as well . Beyooooonds will likely get more new-group treatment, Tsubaki will resume motion with Kiki back. The only thing I feel will maybe bring MM some good promotion (and music) will be the graduation of an older member or two. Personally, the last song I truly enjoyed was Dokyuu no Go Sign (Oct 2017), and the last full single I liked was 13ki's debut (March 2017). Over 2 years of "meh" in my opinion. Even during Platinum Era, I at least liked the songs even if the promotion and music videos were craptastic lol (lookin' at you Seishun Collection outfits and soccer field).

 

I am underwhelmed. Kokoro&Karada doesn't ever feel like it hits a climax and leaves me unsatisfied. LOVEPedia is probably my "favorite" and is okay (I'm glad to hear so much 13th gen though). Ningen Kankei No way way.... let's just say I hate the idea of recycled songs (Matenrou Show and Nogashita Sakana wa Ookizo are both pretty low on my list of MM songs). It's the lazy way to push "more content" at fans. I can only hope for an album next year with some good new content.

I can feel you, and the last MM song stuck in my head was "Are you Happy??". After that, everything just come and go, nothing stuck in my mind. Different with other group, the music was good. Even with Kobushi's position, some of their song still stuck in my head.

 

As for this single, i can feel nostalgic of EDM era in Kokoro & KArada, but the melodic is not yet into me. LovePedia?? hhmmm, not my type of music. i just hope the MM will produce solid songs like Wagamama, Utakata, Mukudashi.

Despite knowing they are the same song with different arrangement and all, I think both versions sounds extremely similar. They didn't manage to make them stand out that much from one another.

I've had the same problem with MM for a while too. I think the last song I remember a few weeks after hearing it was Are you happy, but the last one I really liked was Jealousy Jealousy.

It feels like its been more than a year since they've really put effort into MM. There is a stark difference in the amount of effort they were putting into the group in 2014-2016 compared to now and I'm not just talking about promoting them to a public audience (which was probably easier at the time since 1)there was a lot more music shows and 2)idol groups were the trend), but in terms of choreography, MVs and the music they were releasing. None of its really click with me for a while so I'm really excited with this single.

It will never not be annoying that they do this because not only do they only properly promote a few groups a year, but they also tend to give filler songs to groups having filler years. I don't which is the cause of the other but they end up ignoring opportunities (like capitalizing on RiJ) when they do this. 

 

As for the factories, I don't think TF was supposed to be put on the back burner since they had a consistent schedule that was just disrupted by Kiki's injury. KF however, is just stuck in a rut that I don't think H!P knows how to get them out of. I don't think it's because of their scandals because their sales dropped before the members left and the following single sold more. They randomly added members to JJ when they didn't know what to do with them so they may end up eventually doing the same for KF

 

KK is fine (the usual track I guess), but NWW and LOVEpedia are my jam rn.

LOVEpedia still pawns NJNWW for me in terms of arrangement. The "no way way" part just doesn't fit the song very well. It just sounds weird.

And I like that the main girls take a backseat in LOVEpedia, so LOVEpedia all the way for me.

It's been emphasized when they performed the songs in public during K&K Final that they are both of the same structure and melody.Same set of people behind it as well. Only composition and lyrics differ. 

 

I am drawn to the electronic style of Lovepedia, while No Way Way has that classic MM-oomph we've been missing in MM for so long.

I also hate how we get to hear songs on concerts first because that's how I get the first impression -- I liked how Rio delivered her line in the live con for No Way Way, and then we got a very controlled enunciation in the recorded version.
