Announced through their official instagram, Country Girls will release their 2nd digital single, One Summer Night ~Manatsu no Kesshin~ / Natsuiro no Palette (One Summer Night〜真夏の決心〜／夏色のパレット)

Do these digital releases get music videos? CG always had such lovely MVs. I hope One Summer Night is calmer like Tamerai Summertime was, but I have a feeling it might be more moody like Koi wa Magnet since Palette is cuter and H!P seems to be into double and triple a’s having different styles to each song.

Sometimes?  "Konamaiki Girl" had a Live performance PV, but "Kaite wa Keshite no "I Love You"" had a legitimate PV....but their last digital single didn't.

Kaite wa keshita was the only *proper* digital single, at least be h!p wiki standards. But it was the only one with a proper music video and an ounce of promo. And this seems to be going down the same route as matenai after five so im guessing no music videos.

Yay! I am hoping they will give them at least one proper music video. It is such a waste that 傘をさす先輩 doesn't have a music video. The song is made for a music video.

wow, that pv was really good and the song was nice too. Maybe they haven't completely given up on Country Girls yet.

The song sounds good. It's a pity they never bother giving them a PV for their last digital single when Yanamin is still around. I mean the PV to 傘をさす先輩 could have easily been the prequel to One Summer Night〜真夏の決心〜 PV. But I am glad we get to see Risa/Mai (especially Mai since Risa has Cosmo College) in a proper music video.

It's so good. CG is like the group management wants to forget about yet they always end up giving them the best songs. Everyone talking about Kasa wo Sasu Senpai, well, I was completely in love with Matenai After Five and wish it had gotten more...

 

Come on, they could just add a couple of KSS to the group and make it wholesome again...

 

Wonder if the other song will have the typical retro feel CG usually have? Also, the mention of "someone playing the sax" in One Summer Night... Yanamin...

Regarding this... Does anyone know about this supposed rumour that Layla might be joining? I don't know Japanese and Google Translate is so bad that even now I don't understand much but apparently it's a legitimate rumour (伊勢鈴蘭 カントリーガールズ 兼任!). Tbh, I don't know how I'd feel about new members, the original Momochi protegees didn't deserve their group to be thrown under the bus as soon as she left so maybe just maybe it'd be even worse to just suddenly start adding more girls... but that's just me.

 

EDIT: The new MV is great, dang, I sure miss them. And what's with Chisaki's random t-shirt with a caption en español, lol? It also looks like it was written in Arial lmao. What a great song too.

I would love or them to add some KSS the group, even if it was an Ongaku Gatas situation, where they remain KSS but also have activities with Country Girls.

OMG CG delivering very high quality again    Too bad they release only digital singles (ok better than nothing!!!) I would love management would give them more love . Adding new members, like said before KSS. The group has so much to offer! Its a shame.

At least when they do give them stuff it’s high quality. It happens too often that a “less important” group gets weaker releases.

I am in love with Natsuiro 10/10 and One Summer Night right behind 9/10

^^ that’s true, it depends on who they’re pushing at the time. Only one group a year gets consistent high quality. (anju 2015, C-ute 2016, MM 2017, and Tsubaki 2018... this year it’s Juice=Juice, I think)
