Heart and body? Interesting. Sounds like some twin title they can use for H!P Summer concerts though haha

Heart & Body is an interesting combination, I wonder what sort of vibes the setlists will have.

(Though the first thing that popped into my head was the semi-common "my body and soul" lyric.)

inb4 Sotsugyou Special. Even though it's not unusual at all, the four opening Zama Kanagawa dates make me irrationally nervous for Sakura though. KOKORO ja...

That said, aside from kokoro karada also being a pun of "from the bottom of my heart" and "heart&soul" the title may also be a reference to lyrics from the song Watashi wa Watashi Nanda from the 14th Album.

Makenu you ni kono KARADA to
Waga KOKORO wo kitaete yuku

Although kokoro can be heart, I'd also roughly translate this to "I'll strengthen my body and spirit so that I can't lose." It'd be a decent enough theme for the tour.

If we’re picking for title meanings it could also be KOKO(ro) KARA(da)
KOKO KARA would mean “From now on” or “It starts now”
A reference to new members, new Musume, new era :)

It's so rare to see Erina in the front row, with the usual centres at the back row. and Chisaki in the dreadful top corner that is usually reserved for the background girls.

^I was really surprised by the placement of the girls. Of course, new girls in front, and next to them leader and (first) sub-leader. 2nd row with Ayumi and Maria makes sense due to their popularity and Ayumi being the other sub-leader, and having Yokoyan and Kaede as a generation in some kind of pillar formation is a nice touch. However, to see all three of them - Sakura, Masaki and Chii - in the back row, despite them being really popular (Masaki and Sakura usually create the most buzz on social media, Chii is popular with the wota) was a surprise lol. And as you said, with Chii in the corner.

I'm not complaining though, just surprised.

That should have always be the way, give girls who are always under featured in singles something else to feature them more prominently. If it was up to me, I would have always put Erina/Honey/Haachin in the centre of all photoshoots.

The thing is though where all the girls end up standing in a group photo is up to the photographer. If the photographer decides that the photo will look the best with certain members in the front row and other members in the middle and back rows they’ll have them stand in those places for the photo regardless of how popular those particular members are or who needs pushed at the time. The only exception is when there are certain members UpFront wants to push such as a center for a song the group photo is promoting or a new generation (in this case 15ki) needing pushed due to it being their first full concert tour as members of Morning Musume.

Plus it’s not as if the members who are under featured in singles don’t get any promotion at all. Eripon, Harunan, and Haachin all have been promoted more outside of single and album releases, often more so than the members who end up being promoted the most when the group releases a new single

I tend to enjoy it when they go with a retro vibe; this costume set feels pretty 1970s, with the brown/red/yellow color scheme and the floral and stripe patterns (and Mei's bell sleeves).

it honestly bothers me how they always get the best costumes for these tour shots lmao, why they dont use them for singles or the actual concert (this time around they dont all seem appropiate for performing, so i get it lol)

She probably had a growth spurt. It looks like all of 15th gen have the same flat boots.
