Watched the mm concert stream recording, and Homare did so well! Of course she didn’t have many lines, but her energy and facial expressions were great, especially for a newbie. My eyes were drawn to her even when she was just dancing behind someone else with a solo line.

She really resembles Abe Natsumi so much. I really wonder if she got pick because of the resemblance besides the obvious experience in dancing.

I got a feeling she may get the push once the older generations start to graduate and she will be made the face of MM like Abe did.

I cannot take my eyes off her during Lovepedia. It's like, she was made for Musume. Maybe that's why they put her most of the time in the center when the 15ki are at front formation. Her expressions are extraordinary.

Actually if you put the video on slow-motion, Riko and Risa from Tsubaki Factory also almost made the same mistake.

I think that voice sounded more like Riko's than Homare's. But I guess the camera caught Homare instead of Riko coz she is in the front row and the reaction from her and Chisaki is more endearing.

I get a sense from this flub and some other things I've seen that Homa-chan is overawed with the fact she's a Morning Musume idol.  Rio seems to have hit a certain maturity level she's not likely to do something like this and Mei's Kenshuusei time likely has made her comfortable with the fact she's an idol.

 

But it's all good.  More proof we have a really great generation to enjoy in the coming years!
