Anyway, I really love the song. It's catchy! But it sounds more like an album song than a single. Maybe a second album is coming?

Surprisingly I like the CG song a lot. It's also pretty impressive how great Mai, Risa and Chisaki sound without Funakki. I was a little worried tbh lolol

 

The Tsubaki song is nice. A little underwhelming maybe. Overall this could also be one of C-ute's later A-sides tho. Maybe the lyrics are pretty impressive and ive it an overall more emotional feeling? Like Gamusha Life or Final Squall you know? Are the lyrics maybe connected to the group and their 19yo selfs or smth?

I'm curious how they cut up Sakura's parts.

According to the fan reports Ayumi and Miki sang Sakura’s lines for the Seishun Night performance, while Mizuki sang most of her solo lines for Utakata Saturday Night, ENDLESS SKY, and Ai no Gundan. I’m really hoping that Sakura will be well enough to start performing again on August 3rd and doesn’t end up having to miss this entire tour because otherwise poor Mizuki’s vocal chords

Is the KSS unit a real unit / new group?

Somewhat yes and mostly no. It's like a senbatsu group within the KSS where management can place KSS or HKSS members to "test" them and give them some extra attention to see how ready they are for debut. The members can be swapped out and changed and rotated out at the discretion of the office, and it's not considered to be a functional indie group under H!P. So far it just seems like they'll get some more opportunities to perform live at other groups' events, perform as a group during harocon, and get a song of their own on occasion.

Just want to add that MinaMina doesn’t just have Pink Eye like Miki had last weekend. She has epidemic keratoconjunctivitis which is highly contagious so she can’t perform with the rest of Kobushi Factory and Hello!Project until she’s fully recovered otherwise they’ll risk other members ending up with the same condition
