To compare first week Oricon sales for recent singles:

 

Furari Ginza / Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara = 110,973

Are you Happy? / A gonna = 114,105

Jama Shinaide HWG / Dokyuu no Go Sign / Wakainsadhi = 111,049

 

So, yes, it's keeping up with past releases. Total sales are anywhere from 8-16k higher lately for MM, so really excellent (especially when you look at PE numbers, oh Lord lol).

Oh Yes, the PE era.

I was a little disheartened to learn their first single as a brand new fan, and still one of my favorites,

Mikan was their lowest selling single of all time(35k).

 

So that makes it unoffically 18 gold singles in a row!
