When I first heard about this I thought it was going to be a legit show. As in not filmed in THE ROOM THAT ALL H!P SHOWS ARE FILMED. Guess I was wrong.

Oh wow, I really liked the first episode. I understand why they did an introduction video, non wotas probably dont know the girls and this gave them a frame of reference. I did not know Miyo, but now I love her personality, so cute. I love the concept of the show and I certainly want to watch the rest and hopefully there will be another season.

For anyone curious about why the next episode is taking so long, they've apparently decided to milk this show over 3 months, even though it's only 6 episodes long

Hama-chan has shown off on TV interviews before and Manaka is Manaka, but I was honestly surprised that Rikako's balance and flexibility weren't comparable.

Equally impressive if you could share that dance and not want to fall in love with Inaba or Hamaura as well. Corpsing aside, it was a stunning performance all around.

I love this! I'm a ballroom/latin dancers myself, so it's really cool to see the girls in Balroom outfits! Especially Ayumin looks so stunning!

Episode 6 is the final episode of season 1, but apparently there will be more episodes/a season 2 in the future. Though the exact air date hasn't been announced.

 

In addition there's a spin-off series featuring the Dance Gakuen members in different situations (that have nothing to do with dancing) to bring out their characters. The first episode will feature Hirai Miyo with guests Ichioka Reina and Yamazaki Yuhane. Comedian duo Time Machine will return as hosts. "Hello Pro Dance Gakuen "Extracurricular Activities Vol.1 ~Hirai Miyo Version~"  will air on 8/15.

This show is easily the most entertaining (I think) of the bunch right now, I'm so happy it's getting a third season. It feels like too much to hope for a fourth season, but.. fingers crossed anyway.
