I'm a bit late commenting on the new MV, but OMG it was amazing.

The MV and flowy dresses also reminded me of the group flower.

If tsubaki keep doing this style they will be my favourite group.

Just read these comments so I'll pipe in......my comment on the Fuwari vid on YT was that my only complaint was that it needed more Kisora. Talking about centers/aces......yeah, it did seem like they featured Maopin a bit but I consider the (singing) ace to be Yumeno, followed up by Risamaru. They pretty much get most of the important lines and always have. Kiki has always been more of a visual center.

The interesting thing about Yumeno is that she's never the center for promotional photos, and never the main center in MVs either - it's usually Risa and Kiki, sometimes Mao and Saori. But yes, she gets many lines, and often those that are special.

The interesting thing about Yumeno is that she's never the center for promotional photos, and never the main center in MVs either - it's usually Risa and Kiki, sometimes Mao and Saori. But yes, she gets many lines, and often those that are special.

 

I think Yumeno is the only girl with solo lines in all the singles including indies singles. But it's interesting that she is considered the top vocal talent, but she wan't given the center girl treatment in the photoshoots. I like this balance, to be honest. Give the other girls more opportunities to take on center position/focus.

 

Kiki has always been the visual center. Risa only caught up to be the visual center recently although she is also consistently getting more solo lines and focus.

 

Kisora used to be one of the vocal leads in the indie days and also earlier singles. Think it's only the recent 2 she got lesser lines and less screentime. I am sure her time will come again.

Ehh i'm not too fussed about the line distribution. Good singers should get a lot of lines lol, but for those who don't get a lot of lines, I think they should make up for it by giving them better positions in the choreography that are closer to the center, or a lot more screen time to balance it out. The distribution lot less apparent when they do this. I'm okay with Ami not getting lots of lines since they make up for it by showing her beautiful visuals a lot and having her center the dance at some parts. For Kisora, they should have used her voice more dammit. 

 

But the wink saved us all lol so i'll let it slide for this single

I find sankaime pretty unremarkable, I cant even remember much of it even though I listened to it several times. Not my cup of tea

Fuwari, on the other hand, is beautiful. I throughly enjoyed the song and MV and saves the single for me.
I still think a double A si for isn’t enough for tsubaki though, a 3rd song was certainly needed
