Rewatching the live performance from Ayacho's grad concert, the camera was really loving Layla and she got a lot of focus. If this is any indication of the direction the office is going in trying to push her as a front-member, we may be seeing a lot of Ise for the next several years in a very prominent position for the group. We already knew that she was exceptional vocally and her glow-up has been quite effective, but I feel like the exposure she gets may very quickly turn her into a fan-favorite.

 

I noticed that as well. I thought, man I am seeing her a lot, lol. I really hope that is a good sign.

@Greyface it may not be, but you got your message through.  That's all that matters.  Yes, it's very different.  In my opinion that's what makes her look more mature and different.  I'm glad she's doing this change slowly.

LOL, that picture with Rika. She has the most awkward smile since Risamaru's early days. Since she wasn't a Kenshuusei, I sometimes forget that she came in as raw as they come. Her voice is very nice, but lacks consistency, right now. Seeing her get pushed gradually more with each single is a very good sign for her and her fans.

I think the manager already implies that Layla will be pushed, now it only depends on whether her skill levels up.

I think Layla doesn't look awkward performing. She doesn't appear like she is a newbie. She is pretty comfortable in doing her own thing when performing.

She definitely got potential and even more so than those who went through the KSS program.

To be clear, she has an awkward smile only when taking pictures. When performing, she shows growing confidence and is acting fierce, but she's still kinda uncertain at times. And she will get better, Like they all do, since HP has a lot of hard-working competent people.
