Thanks to you for the organisation!

 

What's most striking to me is how different our result is to the Japanese one, the only thing in common being Konya dake and 46okunen both ranking high.

Yes, there are some big differences, although the eligible period of the Japanese one is a month off from this one (this is all 2018 while there includes December 2017 so they include MM's previous album while this does not), but still. I guess Konya Dake and 46okunen are can be pretty universally considered top songs this year. We also agree on Ashita Tenki being the top Kobushi song (and actually Kindan Shoujo as the top JJ album song, though they ranked it much higher), but definitely disagree on the Country Girls songs, Hello History, and a few other areas.

I'm glad that Konya dake won, it was my favourite song of the year. Seeing the results is fun, surprised with some of them.

I'm also glad that Konya dake won, I hope that TF will release another "Konya dake"-level song this year. The manager seems to promote TF really seriously.

I originally had Teion Yakedo in a much lower position, but raised it up before posting when I gave every song another listen. The song's power gave it just enough of a point boost to push it up a whole ranking in the final result. I knew it was a possibility that it would push my top pick lower, but that was only fair

Only three top 10 songs, I'm shocked that Momusu's A-Sides ranked so low.  I thought they had a stronger year singles-wise than 2017, ah well.

 

 

After I posted my list, I would rank Are You Happy? and Kindan Shoujo in my Top 10 if I revised it, I really like them now.

^Looks like most comments are on Tsubaki doing so well. Some suggestions that maybe they should do an overseas concert. A little surprise that Vivid Midnight made the top 10

I have to say, previous 2018 was Tsubaki year. Not only in Japan, but overseas point of view too. Congratulations Tsubaki!!
