The song has a bit more momentum to it than the last two A-sides, but it's still, as people have said, lacking that 'oomph' and climax. Why have Tsunku's MM songs sounded so flat lately...?

 

A gonna/Are you happy? is the first single of theirs that I've passed on, for what it's worth.

I'm a sucker for old days fashion, from the 40s to the 80s, so these outfits are totally my jam. Love them so much, it got me excited for this single, which is a thing I've hardly ever been regarding a MM single... 

By the way, are they the outfits for Furari Ginza or Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara?

As for the song, listened to it, don't remember anything...

Hopefully that's an indication that "Furari Ginza" will have a more retro-inspired sound to match the outfits. I would also imagine the MV to do so.

They performed Jiyuu na kuni Dakara as the first song in the setlist in today Aki tour afternoon show in Zama
Not sure if Furari Ginza will be performed in the second half of the setlist or as the encore song

To be fair though I don’t think anyone in the group has solo lines in Furari Ginza. Information via A on J P L O P:

fan reports say Furari Ginza is a really cute Kayokyoku Showa era song. Members sing in pairs. One pair includes Oda and Haga. Oda and Ayumi also have a part. Comedic dancing symmetrically by Maria and Kaga.

I'm speechless, she doesn't have any lines for her graduation single... I expected to be disappointed, but this is just.. sigh.

I saw some people on twitter saying Erina and Harunan are center. Not sure if it's true.

Could be like Kei's last single. No solo lines in the single but a solo as a b-side.

If Harunan doesn't get anything, be ready for a lot of dumb excuse to prove that it make sense for her to have nothing in her last single

Yeeeaaahhh... maybe it's going to be like Kei's single. I can kind of understand not giving a member that's going to leave soon too much vocal focus because you'd have to change the line distribution, but maybe she's getting some nice parts in the MV. 

 

Not that I have high hopes for the b-side. 

 

However I've seen quite a few people praising Furari Ginza as a masterpiece. I'm ready to be blown away by a Tsunku song again. 

 

/EDIT: Oh great, Jiyuu na kuni Dakara is just another EDM song. Wow.

Listening to it a bit more it does at least have some kind of punch, like Tsunku's early EDM b-sides. But I'm still so tired of this.
