"Matenai After Five" sounds better in the studio version, but not exactly a fan of the song though.

On the other hand, "Kasa wo sasu Senpai" is such a good song. A perfect ending to an anime.

I wonder if they will have a MV for both songs.

 

Still pissed and disappointed that the girls have been given this "semi-active" treatment. I said in their thread, I just don't understand why they couldn't give them at least 1 physical CD single release a year.

It wouldn't take much of their time to promote. I am very sure they will sell at Kobushi Factory level or even better. Such a waste to put an interesting group in the back-burner.

*Sigh* seeing a new CG single that also feels a lot like Country Girls and seeing a cover with all of them assembled makes me realise that my head still sees their ~new~ groups as a temporary thing and expects them to return to their old group status any moment. If only. I really really miss this group and I still have a hard time accepting that their sales were so poor. They all have their respective group of devoted wota, haven't they? What is so different about them compared to other groups who - despite not-that-great single sales - still manage to sell other merch/tickets and thus avoid disbanding? I also can't help but feeling that Chi and Yanamin still look a lot happier when performing as CG than with MM/J=J..

Anyway....

No high Definition MV, a shame.

No song at all on youtube's history page which in fact is just like a wikipedia media page with all history of a group and all her song but not Digital release one's, (when i come back to Berryz youtube page everything is still there and I fell it's good like that).

No way to listen the songs to love them and so no interest of buying single beside support the group but this time you don't even have a CD ... There is only downside for consumer.

Aren't they going to put the short version of the MV on their YouTube account? They did so with the last song (Kaite wa Keshite no "I Love You"). Then again they didn't for Konamaiki Girl... (they uploaded that one to the Up-Front Channel). 

 

But I agree with you guys. Yeah, girls like Chisaki can be more popular in groups like MM (wider audience). But still, Country Girls had a great concept and an amazing group mentality. They have all grown so much. Sales weren't that great anymore but eh, we all know how sales work (like Kobushi's last single was great, they really did put work into MVs and the like, yet it didn't sell that well either - because they weren't doing as many events). I really do miss Country Girls.

Since this group is active in the "school holidays" they could have easily released a physical single instead of a digital single. Especially since there is no other group releasing from Kobushi to the H!P all stars.

 

They would at least be selling as much as Kobushi so I don't see why not.

 

I'm just mad because these are such good songs

"Kasa wo sasu Senpai" is on repeated mode for me. Such a great song. If only this release has been a physical release, we could have proper MVs.

I read that too. Was wondering if the label only has the intentions to release "Matenai After Five", given only this song has performances done. And it does appear the single promo image is for "Matenai After Five".

But I am so glad they decided to release "Kasa wo sasu Senpai". It is just too good not to be released.
