^ ^ Thank you so much for sharing your NY experience, Matchan. Means a lot to us who were not able to make our way to see them.

Just wanted to echo what you said about the current lineup being so strong. I got into MM around 2007-ish, but thereafter lost interest for quite a long time. By a stroke of fate, I caught their Spring Tour earlier this year in Japan, and was completely blown away by their live performance. I couldn't believe how good they were - strong voices, sharp dance moves, dazzling stage presence - everything and everyone completely exceeded my expectations and I was left feeling like 'What have I been missing out on??'

I know graduations are a part of MM, but honestly I am going to miss this line-up so much when they are gone (':

I'm happy I'm finally able to share my own fan report, since I've always loved reading them myself! I personally fell out of the fandom a little bit after the 2nd (3rd?) Aibon scandal, right around Yossi's graduation, if I remember correctly. When I came back (just two years ago), I was blown away by the reborn Morning Musume. Then I found out I had just missed a Houston concert, AND a New York concert during my absence. Just my luck, I thought. So when they came back to New York this year, I knew I would regret not seeing them in their current state.

I totally agree, while we can always be sure graduations are coming, I want to really commit to fully enjoying the talented group they are today.

I'm not sure if anyone has seen Ayumin's blog post from a couple days ago, but it totally made my day. The way she wrote about her experience in NYC felt so genuine, it made me so happy. I don't have any doubt that the girls would *like* to come back to America, it's just up to management (and us fans to show interest). Anyways, these few lines tugged at my heart-strings.

Lots of people from around the world gathered “Since I like Morning Musume!”, we were able to feel your driving force, I’m really happy about it!!!
The energy I felt was #1 at the live
...
All of the overseas fans,
“I’m really excited now so I’ll call out!”
“I’m really having fun now so I’ll move my body!”
That kind of excitement,
It was that kind of live space that I like ❤
...
It was fun! It was really fun!
Anisong Matsuri’s the best!
I’ll do my best so we can be asked to come again!

This weekend was definitely a whirlwind for me, I essentially got to see the girls all three days and it was amazing.

It seems the Haruna light stick- Chant Project worked really well as she was able to hear it from the 3rd floor. She also ended up with the glowstick and can be seen with it in the after concert photos. I am grateful for everyone that participated.

I actually won the raffle on Sunday and was able to tell Haruna that I distributed the glowsticks and she was very surprised and very happy.

I hope everyone else that went had a good time I know the weather messed up a lot of transportation and travel plans and there was a mishap with autograph tickets that upset some people.

• There were Haruna chants after the show was over, and apparently Haruna heard them from the dressing room and came back to take pictures stealthily :). When they came out for the hi-five line for VIP, the chants got louder and many yellow penlights and glowsticks came out. I could see her watch for a while, take it in, and then finally wave to us. We all responded with a huge 'woooo'. I hope she remembers her NY trip fondly.
