I have taken a listen to CD 2. The new/semi-new tracks are rather good, consistent quality.

2 tracks stood out for me, which are:

 

(1) Sunao ni Amaete

(2) Synchro.

 

Surprisingly these are the newer tracks and are the 8-nin ones. I do like "Kindan Shoujo" (another 8-nin track) and "TOKYO Glider" too though.

Can't wait to see the performance for "Synchro.".

my review for a "new songs" are excellent. JJ can amazed me with high quality song. Some of them are perfect arranged, perform outstandingly.

My top picks:
- Sunao ni Amaete : this jazzy song was excellent for me, music arrangements was perfect, and i like the alto vocal of Tomoko, combined with Ruru. Tomoko was best for this kind of song, also the ballad ones.
- Tokyo Glider : Similar version of Sunao ni Amaete, but with faster & more cheer vibe
- Kindan Shoujo : Vibe of 80-90s sound
- never surrender : give "Scottish" sound probably?
- Synchro : Ballad song, i think this one far better than the Naiite ii you.

I agree. They made a good choice by having Tomoko lead the song. She sounds amazing in the studio and 'live' performance.

I always enjoyed the fact they always give Juice=Juice songs with the Mediterranean/European influences (which explains why "Ca Va Ca Va" is one of my top favourites from them).

After a couple of days I have collected my thoughts:
All the new songs (not counting the ones that have been digitaly released before)
1. Never Surrender
2. Tokyo Glider
3. Kono Sekai wa Suteta mon ja nai
4. Synchro
5. Sunao ni Amaete
6. Kindan Shoujo
7. Gin'Iro no Telepathy
8. Abarete kka?! Have a Good Time

Kind of sad because if they had released Abarete kka?! Have a Good Time and kept the more rockish instrumental that was in the live version from H!S a year ago it would have been the best song. Now it is last on my list and I am pretty upset about that.

I am genuinely surprised how "Synchro." has crept up on me to become my favourite out of the new/newish tracks.

Usually I am not a big fan of H!P ballads (bar a few) especially the ones Juice=Juice did, but this song is just really good and pleasing to the ears.

Would have been great if "Synchro." gets a televised 'live' performance.
