It's honestly a bop so I'm here for this.

I'm glad that H!P is going steady with these digital releases, it gives us more exposure to the girls' music besides 2 A-sides and/or 1 album a year. If this gets an MV, it'll definitely be a short version that gets uploaded to YouTube but I hope it's at the quality of Angerme's DVD single since it's such a cool song.

I'm so-so with the digital singles. On one hand we get material and that's good, but on the other hand digital releases won't get them publicity.

Great news! I'm loving the song from the live recordings and it's awesome that it's getting released soon.

 

I'm glad H!P are finally entering the digital music market with more seriousness. It's a whole different thing altogether, but many artists have been thriving through digital music (like Utada, who hasn't released a CD single in ten years), and it opens them up to a wider audience in a way. Plus, we aren't limited to listen to a few CD's per year.

I wasn't up for digital releases before but if they are releasing them on a daily basis then I am all for it rather than wait for 2-3 A-sides every 6 months to a year

Now that early rumor of this being a Tsunku song is officiated, songwriter and lyricist.

Unlike physical releases, people can't really buy multiple digital copies though; save for purchasing from different platforms. With the current gain of physical releases seemingly higher than digitals, unfortunately things like MV budgets probably won't be as high. From my understanding, the profit for digital releases on places like iTunes and from radio broadcasts(terrestrial or otherwise) are generally pretty dismal. But to be fair, digital releases does cut costs from things like manufacturing, distribution, retail, and what have you; so there are benefits.

Personally I'm in favor of digital releases. I think most international fans might prefer it since shipping costs can be substantial.

EDIT: I should've specified that the part about profits from iTunes and radio is with regards to profit from music playback; not sale of digital music or anything else.

I’m only excited because its.s the first song of the year and Haachin have a line, to be honnest I don’t really like the song, though maybe i will change my mind with the studio version.

^They should be in the international iTunes, but they're not available outside Japan right away. It's at most a 24 hour wait.

Yes they are. But you have to wait till it's the actual release day in your country. So when it's released on the 28th of January on midnight in Japan you have to wait till it's the 28th of January midnight in your own country.

I really like this song, at least from what we can listen based on the recording!

I just wish it had a proper cover... And I hope it's gonna be avaliable on Apple Music when it's released!

Just found that 1/28 was the release date of Momusu's 1st official single "Morning Coffee" 20 years ago
Is it a coincidence? or are they doing this on purpose?
