After reading Kinjiru's and others' multiple first-hand accounts of concerts, handshake, release events (world tours?) or like Ami's great birthday event report, I always have fun reading these, hence I wish to have a thread for HO members to relate their experiences, regardless of the group/performer. This will combine everyone's stories at the same place and also will give HO members insight into the groups/idols they may have not been following yet.

So let's get on with it. What are your first-hand accounts of HP-related events?

Inb4 Juice=Juice world tour. :P

I went to their London show, I was really short and a bunch of tall people were in front of me, so I only caught glimpses, and my feet went numb towards the end because it was so crammed near the front but it was still super exciting. I went to the handshake event beforehand and I distinctly remember Sayubee pointing at my jumper and exclaiming "unicorn!" lol (I was wearing a My Little Pony shirt). It was amazing how they went from adorable young girls at the handshake to amazing performers powerful performers once the show started, they all had a great stage presence. It was only the second idol event I attended (the first being Necronomidol a few months prior) and it was unforgettable. There's something about seeing idols in person that makes you develop a lot more respect for them, like Juice=Juice jumped from being in the middle of my favourite current H!P acts to the top of my list after that night.

Eripon and Yokoyama just came by the Morning Cafe (thank you for the ticket, Crypticshadow!) but I have Juice's Budoukan concert in 3 hours so will update this post tomorrow or this evening if there's any energy left in me.

update:

So this Monday at the cafe Yokoyama and Erina dropped by. At first you suddenly heard their voices over the speakers and didn't see them, but all the fans sitting down immediately tensed up and there was this 'something's going to happen...' atmosphere. Then they said it was a recorded broadcast that would be starting from that day onwards. That of course, sounded like nonsense, since why would they do that all of a sudden halfway through cafe thing? Also, it very much sounded like they were speaking live and there were strange pauses. Despite that, a lot of people still seemed to believe it and grunted in disappointed. Both Yokoyama and Erina each asked who was drinking their drinks and the room went absolutely silent upon Erina asking, because apparently no one was drinking it, hahaha. Of course they were still pretending it was a broadcast and didn't actually hear the crowd's response so Yokoyama just said the response was mixed/half-assed ("Bimyou"), though I'm sure Erina was dying on the inside XD. So then they announced that they were actually present, and the two walked into the cafe, amongst all the fans sitting down. A very surreal sight to see them in such a casual setting, they're always on slightly raised platforms for lives, talk shows and even when they're on the same ground level as the fans it's something like a individual handshake where all the spotlight is on them and the atmosphere is still pretty damn tense. Only thing that has come close is seeing Juice Juice passing me at a school festival at which they'd do a live later on in the day (Yuuka waved and called out "Hey!" in English when she saw me looking at them in slight astonishment, lol).

They went past the tables and started inspecting people's drinks, Erina being Erina was of course curious as to which member's drinks everyone ordered, and tiny Yokoyan followed along like a child. Yoko's drink was also not in popular demand, mind you so they had difficulty finding anything. Only one guy showed off his Erina drink, lol. They went back to the middle of the shop and actually stayed for a very long time (or it definitely felt like that at least). Eri was directly asking some questions to the people sitting down on the aisle side, but a lot of them just shut down and gave very standard responses. One girl said "I don't even know what to say~!" when confronted by her. Eripon said that everyone was probably buying their oshi's drinks, but the response was mixed so they talked about how even if the fans might want to buy their oshi's drinks there might very well be something in it that they aren't too fond of and they'd buy something else. At some point Eri coolly asked to a girl if the seat next to her was free and then sat down, and a lot of quiet fangirl squeals could be heard. You could kind of tell that Eripon was playing it cool but was feeling a bit nervous herself though, sitting down like that, as she was not really facing the others at the table, lol. Yokoyan came over and sat on Eripon's lap, which was a pretty cute sight, but they soon stood up again. At some point Yokoyan just burst out in laughter at a strange timing and it was sooo~ adorable. I mean, there's a lot of people I like in Morning so she doesn't quite make it on my favorites list, but man does she have the most adorable wild laughing voice in Morning. Honestly, only Maachan's devil laugh comes close to it but Yoko's is much more dramatic and spontaneous. Eri actually asked who of the fans think they came from the furthest away location today, and though I felt inclined to raise my hand since the furthest away person was from another Asian country, I technically live in Tokyo and only came from several stops away from Harajuku that day, lol. To my great surprise, Eri said that last time she was at the cafe someone actually came from Holland. WTF? O.o; WHICH OF YOU FELLOW DUTCHIES WAS IT?? XD. Also surprising was that the moment she said that the girl sitting left-opposite of me at the table whom I hadn't even talked to turned around away from them to look straight at me >_>. Like, can they detect my nationality or something? They also took some questions from the audience like, "What's your plan for the rest of the day?". Eri just said she'd probably just go shopping with her mom (commenting how if she went with her Mom she'd buy stuff for her, lol). For some reason the entirety of MoMusu except for Maria and Chii did not attend the Juice Budoukan later that evening. There were clips of MoMusu's previous songs playing on the screens so they talked a bit about the way Erina looked back then and the atmosphere was really casual in general, they ordered drinks too.

So Juice's Budoukan is already watchable online and there's no real need to report anything I guess, but maybe some personal moments would be fun especially since I had a pretty good seat. The arena on the first floor near the stage and middle stage are divided up in blocks and my seat was the down-left corner seat of the block directly left of the middle stage, so could freely move around as there was no one behind or left of me. Also, if I turned around (which I did several times and should have probably refrained from...) I could see Angerme sitting straight ahead of my on the 1st floor. Murotan was closest to see with her glasses -.-;. Honestly, I am fine with Angerme seeing me for some reason but if I had know Chii was sitting up there right next to Maria (who I also easily spotted) I would not have turned around, lol.

Tokyo Glider is absolutely amazing to hear live due to the instrumentals and footage of it doesn't quite do it justice, it's an incredibly good song if the sound system is good, and otherwise kind of falls flat, lol. So, first part of the live I honestly didn't have much eye contact with them at all (pretty dance heavy songs too so not much leeway to look at people), except for Yuuka. My hairstyle was very different from usual since like Yanamin I went from showing my forehead to bangs, but Yuuka is awesome with faces and always recognizes me even though I'm not even waving pink that often (though I make sure to do it when she's in front of me instead of Aari/Yanamin). After the break when they went off of stage and the video was displayed they came back on and now Akari did start looking at me. Probably more to do with the songs being less dance-oriented, which gives them more freedom to look at the audience. She specifically looked a while in Ai Ai Gasa, during the part where they sing, well...Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai ga sa~ and do the heart hand motions. Really like that song btw, some of the melodies remind me of the Suzumiya Haruhi opening, which brings back good memories. Funny thing is that she rarely looks when she's close to you, opposed to Yuuka who does. Also, when the silver ribbons came out (they actually have member messages printed on them) I tied one around my penlight and waved it, which drew some looks, lol. Although I absolutely adore Ruru I don't wave orange often and never meet her eyes like, there was one moment when she was on the center stage and did directly look at me, which was a first, though I was waving pink at the time.  Really enjoyable concert, but you can check it out yourself since the entire thing is watchable already. I gotta say, Morning Musume's Budoukan the next day blew me away and did trump it, but it's quite unfair to compare the two groups in the first place and I love them both. Juice in general is much easier to 'connect' to since they're less popular and many members make an effort to remember their fans.
