Teion remains best song and best outfits.

I didn't enjoy Shunrenka as a song (the instrumental is fun) but it's not bad just sth I wouldn't replay. Outfits are cute.

I need you sounds really nice to me. The voices sound really good for the song. Kinda reminded me of how I didn't like how MoeMuroRikako sounded in that ballad (except Moe) or how the ballad wasn't as nice as in the song per se.

I think it's a solid single. Teion was already so fine that I wasn't expecting the other two songs to be mind blowing.

I really like the members they are pushing the most so that also helps in general.

So overall this is just a really great single. It's not as mind blowing as their last one but I love it a lot. It's a nice change to what we got so far and perfect for spring.

Praying for the sales to be as great as this piece of art deserves them to be.

I'm a bit late, but here's my ranking

 

Song: Shunrenka > Teion Yakedo > I Need You

 

MV: I Need You > Shunrenka > Teion Yakedo

 

Shunrenka is just too good for me lol, a cute feel-good song, perfect for ringing in the spring (I probably like it more than Uruwashi no Camellia though I loved the latter one too).

 

Overall, all three songs are great, and the MVs are also surprisingly good (again). Tsubaki doesn't disappoint.

I'm only on my phone rn. I need the sales from their previous single and the other current H!P groups for comparison. Are they 2nd most selling group in H!P already or is Anju still ahead of them (their last video release not counted)?

Those are (higher than) some Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku numbers right there, approaching numbers I'd have expected from Cute near the end of their tenure.  Those would have been amazing first-week sales, let alone day one.  There's usually an inevitable dip in sales for the rest of the week, but barring supply shortages, this will probably hit 60k for the first week on a conservative estimate.

Second reaction: nah Oricon must have weakened their rules. Let's see if my hypothesis may be true. So Arashi is first with 230k, their latest single before this one sold somewhat 300k on its first day, and Exile the Second is third with somewhat 50k, and their latest single before this one sold 25k on its first day. Yeah, so there's no clear evidence to support my hypothesis.
