Only 4 members (Maachan, Fukuchan, Daaishi, Sakura) have solo lines

I thought they were going in a pattern for the pairs, but the last two pairs messed it up.

You are right, the first 5 pairs are according to the oldest and newest in generations, but the last 2 pairs are not

Following generations: Fukumura, Ikuta, Iikubo, Ishida, Sato, Kudo, Oda, Ogata, Nonaka, Makino, Haga, Kaga, Yokoyama, Morito
The sequence should be:
1st part: Fukumura + Morito
2nd pair: Ikuta + Yokoyama
3rd pair: Iikubo + Kaga
4th pair: Ishida + Haga
5th pair: Sato + Makino
6th pair: Kudo + Nonaka (Actually Ogata + Nonaka) <- but I like HaaChel pair
7th pair: Oda + Ogata (Actually Kudo + Oda)

That was such a great performance! They all sounded so good. I especially loved how Maa and Daishi didn't try to do too much during their solos. They kept it simple. It was a very clean performance.

^So it was the original ver. which ranked. I was looking for the new version, because I didn't find it I thought It didn't rank. Interesting.

I figure the original Ai no Tane ranking would be all digital sales.  Didn't they sell all 50,000 CD copies back in 1997?

Correct me if I'm wrong but as I understand it, the hot chart doesn't measure the amount of copies sold but how popular a song is? Like how often it's played on the radio and such

^The Hot 100 ranking measures many things: a combination of physical sales, digital sales and streaming; the radio airplay; the look ups (when you hear a song and then look for it by using a software that recognizes the song and identifies it for the user); the mentions on Twitter; and the views on YouTube. Of course these 5 factor don't have an equal weight, but it's unknown how big or small is a factor for the ranking.
