Will update this post again when the date for the concert finale is officially announced :)

Update:

The first lot of tour dates have been officially announced on the official Hello!Project website:

http://www.helloproj...0d8a947f310404/

The concert title is temporary at the moment, but hopefully they’ll announce the full official concert title soon :)

Update 2:

More tour dates have been announced via the fan club:

https://twitter.com/...414488273539073

The tour title (as corequad mentioned on Monday) is the same as the title for the previous tour.

But it was not until almost February when we knew the final date. Which is nice, because some airplane agencies have discount fares until that time in my country.

Still waiting for the title
Will it be something similar to "We are MORNING MUSUME"?

Also still no new dates/venues after Hokkaido

The tour title was announced today
It is "モーニング娘。誕生20周年記念コンサートツアー2018春~We are MORNING MUSUME。~" (Morning Musume Tanjou 20 Shuunen Kinen Concert Tour 2018 Haru ~We are MORNING MUSUME。~),
so they reuse "We are MORNING MUSUME。"

Thanks for the confirmation :) I’ve updated the thread title :)

I wonder if they’re re-using the “We Are Morning Musume” title for this tour because of it still technically being Morning Musume’s 20th Anniversary year and this year being the 20th Anniversary of the group’s official debut and the formation of Hello!Project. If so then hopefully the Autumn/Fall tour later this year will have a new title and not just be the same title as the previous 2 Morning Musume concert tours

I am just thinking if they could create a more attractive and creative title instead of reusing the last one

this spring tour is the final moment of their 20th anni ...they will go all out this time to end their anniversary :good:
and last time they didnt do anything except inviting AiReina-tsuji to be a guest because there was duu grad. above it...
so i think its okay to re-use the title because the party still not end yet :good:

More tour dates have been added. Not sure where the concert final will be at this point. Budokan is supposed to be closed for renovations after March this year until June 2020 to make it earthquake resistant and barrier free on time for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, but since the announcement of Suzuki Airi’s solo concert there in July I’m not sure if it’s going to only be partially closed or if they’re just going to start the renovation work after Airi’s concert takes place.

Where are they gonna perform now?
All their recent tours have at least one Budokan performance.

I hope they get a bigger venue for this tour, though there’s no grad announcement (yet)

Seems like Budokan is still available. From Airis thread that will have a Budokan concert in June:

But I thought Budokan would be under construction in 2018?

I thought the same!! but I dk the specific dates, maybe it will be under construction on the first half?

The refurbishment of Nippon Bubokan will start in September 2019

There was an update after that one stating that the renovations where going to start earlier than planned and that they would be begin after March 2018:

http://www.decn.co.jp/?p=92512

Considering that Airi’s solo concert is taking place in July I think they’re either being a bit vague by saying they’re starting the renovations after March this year and meaning any month after that this year or the renovations have been postponed until later this year and they haven’t said anything yet.

So do you guys think the dates that were just announced will be the last nationwide dates before the finale? I'm trying to work out when the finale will be since I'm going to be in Tokyo around the same time...

These should be the last nationwide tour dates. But the tour normally always ends at the end of May and there's no Budokan announcement yet. Since last time they put in a second Budokan date at the end of June or something and we had two Budokan concerts for the fall tour as well everything seems possible right?

Like there might be a normal Budokan concert at the end of May/start of June. But maybe they have two Budokan concerts back to back sometime later or they switch to a bigger venue? I think no one can tell what to expect at this point.
