So basically if people ask for a new single and get something awful, they should be happy because it’s a single ? Make sense... or not We’re waiting for this album since 2014, it’s normal to expect something special, especially for the 20th anniversary. I’m excited for this album, but i’m not gonna pretend it’s not dissapointing or act like people can’t be dissapointed... espacially when they have good arguments...

Seems like you have missed quite a few things. They did make a Music Station appearance, performed Love Machine, with Tsuji and Michishige being present for the interview part. There's also been a special on Momusu with a couple of OGs and Tsunku's comments on the group. It was subbed and is available for download on the tracker I believe. There will be another special aired in November. Two episodes of The Girls Live were focused on Momusu's 20th anniversary with segments of members talking about it, and some performances from the event were broadcasted. The Morito and Ishida solo appearances and the likes you've mentioned didn't have anything to do with the anniversary celebrations, those were just the usual TV promos.

 

The tour is still running and ending in December. It's a given at least a DVD/Blu-ray will be released, but those come a few months after the tour ends. It's way too early to judge in which format the tour will be released, they might even release a concert album. I don't expect it, but maybe since they aren't treating this tour as their usual ones considering all the different songs they're performing.

There is nothing about the album contents only the BD? (other than there will be some previously unreleased songs stated at the concerts) Are people still arguing or getting upset about that made up Tweet? ...because if they are...umm... it's made up, isn't it?

It's probably made up. I think one of the other serial numbers mentioned was supposed to be the cover album but it turned out to be the fanclub anniversary event bd? Something like that.

 

That being said, I still think they're not doing much for the anniversary. Even going on Music Station. I was about to say that that's Platinum Era level promotion - but the 10th anniversary was during early Platinum Era and handled better.

There is possibility that they may release another compilation album (e.g. Morning Musume ALL SINGLES COMPLETE ~20th ANNIVERSARY~ ???) later to include those singles after the 10th anniversary one. If it becomes true, it will probably include those singles after Onna ni Sachi Are. Then the 15th album will only include those unreleased songs with a few single songs

So it seems from cdjapan that the album will be 15 songs, A-sides and unreleased/new tracks

^ Both the limited edition and the regular edition have 15 songs according to Tower Records but I don't know if the remaining 3 songs are different between the 2 editions

I don't know how many initial copies they have for CD Japan, but there are only 7 copies of the regular edition left now.

Also, I'm wondering if there'll be any bonus for the first press. I miss getting posters for my CD orders (I don't really know what to do with postcards).

wait so, all the a-sides from Seishun to Sexy Cat won't have an album to call their own? lmfao might as well call that era "the lost era" since they cut out so many singles welp. 

i'm almost certain they're gonna have a commemorative album for the 20th now. but i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't either lol

we don't know for sure since there is no official tracklist available yet. If the tracklist listed by Tower Record is right and there will be 3 slots left for more songs, I'll put my bet on Sexy Cat, Soujanai/MukiMuki, and Morning Coffee 2017 version.

With 58th-62nd singles not included in the current tracklist, the possibility of releasing a new single complete compilation album is increased now 
Hopefully the remaining 3 songs are new songs or some special editions (e.g. Live from concerts/events, Remix) of existing songs

In addition to those mentioned by honeyponponfan, there is a Morning Musume 20th ANNIVERSARY CAFE which will open between 11/3 and 12/10 at AREA-Q of Harajuku
It is similar to the ℃afe ℃-ute last year before ℃-ute disbanded

I think it would be cool to have 6 new songs, 3 on each version. But yeah, i'd be happy if we could get cover of past songs with the new generations.

I don't think they were necessary, but i'm kinda sad songs like OMW or Ima Sugu aren't on it since background/new members got some great lines. And it's pretty sad to see we have 13 and 14th gen debut on this album but not 12th gen debut.

It does feel like they forgot an album.

 

For all the 20th anniversary thing, I still think we need to wait to see how adequate the celebration is because it seems like they're planning on really stretching it out. Also I think some people wanted to see more OGs involved but I'm actually really pleased that for the most part, they see the current group strong enough to lead the anniversary.
