Decided to make a thread for her now...she's just soooooooo cute and I wanted to talk about her for a while now but a thread for her was never made for some reason. I highly doubt she doesn't have many fans.
She is one of the most interesting new generation idols of any group in my opinion (which is very biased). She's pretty and very cute. That for an idol is a plus of course. But moreover, she's actually really interesting. There are many idols that I like in 48G, but not all of which captivates me when I watch them live-stream on SHOWROOM. Some are just too boring in that setting.
With Miyumiyu however, she manages to be interesting whether it's 05:00 in the morning with her being dead-tired yet still doing her best, or if it's afternoon or evening. She easily interacts with her fans, and she talks freely about anything and everything. And she's funny too!
In terms of interests, she was a big fan of AKB48 before she auditioned, as well as being a big manga and anime fan as well (and she'll often talk about anime or manga in her streams), in addition to doing her many anime character impersonations.
She's very close with STU48 member Ishida Chiho aka Chihochan (whom she often refers to as Chihonnu and sometimes Chihomama), and the two of them together with STU48's Ishida Minami aka Mii, have formed the trio Kado-Ishi-Ishi, which also entered as such in the Janken Tournament.
Before she was an idol, she attended the following school, where she studied entertainment in general, such as modelling, dancing, acting, etc:
With regards to STU48, here is a brief clip of the song she chose for her audition (at 1m 47s mark):
She told the story of how she walked up to the stage, and many of the judges were mostly just looking at their own papers, not paying much attention to Miyumiyu. However... when she started using the mic, everybody immediately looked up at her.
Here is the full version of the song she chose:
I think her future as idol should be a good one, as in addition to the aforementioned qualities, she can also sing and dance well. And with her personality and ability to talk, she should be a good addition to any kind of idol variety TV show.
If any of you want to watch more of her, YouTube has many recordings of her SR, and then of course there's her SR channel linked above. She streams every day, at least once, sometimes more. On weekdays it's usually 06:30 JP time every day. Well worth watching some of her live streams.
Wow thanks for all this additional info. Judging by her looks you wouldn't expect her to be smart but she seems to be really intelligent. It's probably my bias and me not knowing much about 48G but if she keeps up her hard work and keeps on making smart decisions I could see her end up on top in a few years from now, similar to Sasshi.
By the way, I can't help but feel she sometimes looks and behaves a little bit like Marin from Sakura Gakuin. Just a lot more "normal" and less crazy.
She has had her 12 hour non-stop SR stream today. Unfortunately due to a SR error, the stream reset near the end (a couple hours away from finish) and with that her 60,000+ view count and numerous gifts including towers, was erased... After she returned and was very disappointed about this, it grew back up to over 17,000+. She got numerous towers as well again (and after final rank was read, and ending theme was sung, she got 10 towers by Nikkun, who had already given her several earlier before reset).
Yet another entertaining stream by her.
Due to her long stream, she has gained many more followers, and she is now ranked 4th out of the STU48 girls with most followers on SR.
PS: Unfortunately her SR is plagued by a user called "watermark" which uses an ASCII software to spam her channel. He has been criticized for his rude behavior on 2ch by several users. Please do click on his avatar and click "report" if/when you see him, anywhere on SR.
I only managed to catch the stream after the reset unfortunately. Didn't fully catch who she was on the phone with but I guess those were other STU members?
So the entire 12 hour thing as a whole was basically this:
09: 00 ~ Live (Singing)
11: 00 ~ Making and eating lunch
13: 00 ~ Quiz
15: 00 ~ Live (Dancing)
17: 00 ~ Evening meal
19: 40 ~ 20: 00 ending
Except she added another part to her stream as well from the Quiz part of the show, which was her contacting other STU48 members via Skype. I can't remember how many girls she talked with throughout the stream, but it was quite a few. Each girl had to do the same thing, which was self introduction, saying various lines Miyumiyu came up with, do an impression, etc. as well as talking with her.
For this being 12 hours in total, she was in good spirits throughout the entire thing, never seeming bored or sounding bored. Talked and did stuff with ease. The only exception was when the reset happened. I really thought she might start to cry at some point but that didn't happen (she was quite down about it).
PS: Remember to click the heart symbol on the upper right part of her SR, so that you can follow Miyumiyu. It'll be grey/white if you haven't activated it, but pink if you have.
Almost didn't click it...she took it better than I expected. Still sucks but I'm glad she managed to not get discouraged by it. That alone proves how much of a great idol she is.
Thanks for yet another quality post. I'll definitely try to watch as much of the recording as I can the next days lol.
I'm not sure I fully got what went on in the last stream but it seems to me like she still stop Showroom (?) and instead get a (paid?) show on Nicovideo?
Miyumiyu isn't stopping anything at all whatsoever. She was talking about how their first live performance would be broadcasted on niconico. To be able to watch that, you need to be a premium member, and thus a paying member.
Thanks for clarifying. It just seemed odd to me she started her stream earlier than usual and the ending was really drawn out like it's some sort of goodbye. Glad she will still do Showroom. I think the main reason I jumped to that conclusion is that quite a few idols are doing paid streams now (although on Fresh instead of Nicovideo).
She started the stream earlier because of her schedule today. The ending of said stream was drawn out like it has been for a number of days now. She is back to the same timetable as most days for tomorrow's stream, which you can see on SR's schedule list.
It's completely normal that the girls sometimes changes their stream time depending on their schedules.
Sorry to bother, but could anyone explain showroom to me? When the stream reset, was there no way to contact showroom to ask them to bring all the towers etc back?
I am not sure to be honest, because I have no idea of the follow-up to that issue. In theory I think that should be possible actually, if the girl in question contacts staff etc. and they do something.
