You don't seem to understand the difference between management and "record label" - especially in Japan the label is mostly just a publisher.

 

When she was hired it was for WACK and BiS label is also a major label.

 

As far as I know groups like AKB also sometimes send members off to other groups that might be on another label.

But EMPiRE was specifically pegged as a project between avex and wack so avex will have more control over them than the other groups. Probably an exchange for more control to get funding for the group. Otherwise why would they announce them as a group made by both companies? Doesn't make sense.

But I doubt the girls themselves are paid particularly differently.

Yes it's right it was an avex/wack colab but the girls are still scouted and managed by wack.

I meant Avex seems like it has more prestige than Crown Stones, and that it could seem like a bait and switch for a girl who thought she was headed in that direction. Not that EMPiRE is more popular than BiS, anyway, lol
