I wish they could have a proper release already...
It's been a while since we got much news from them. I suppose if we get anything, it won't be for a while, thanks to the virus.

Up Up Girls (Pro Wres) will perform during the ＠JAM ONLINE FESTIVAL 2020, streaming 8/29 & 8/30.
They will appear on the Red Stage on 8/30.

In honor of their third anniversary, they've released a bunch of interviews on the youtube channel, plus a dance cover of Upper Kick. They've got new costumes, and Hikari has purple hair now. I hope their forth year is a happy one full of new original songs and an official release for Maketakunai.

A little while ago they released a 3nin version of Upper Chop. And today they released a new original song called Ring no Ue ni mo San Nen 〜All Along The Way〜. It seems like they're planning to finally release an MV for Maketakunai soon, as well as a 3nin version of Upper Kick.
I can't help but feel hopeful we might get a CD release announced soon. They have enough songs to make a mini album now.
Imagine a tracklist like this:

It seems it was a April fools joke lol.
They even had Miyu record a version of Maketakunai.
I wonder if they will ever add a new member? I love this group's concept so much.
Still praying for CD release, or at least a new song.

It only really just hit me that the minimum age requirement for the audition is 13, and while it's not unheard of for joshi wrestlers in Japanese promotions to start training much sooner than that, I just can't quite imagine anyone that young passing the audition or getting anywhere close to par with the current members in either aspect of wrestling or as idols and not looking humorously out of place.

If we were to end up with a pro wres auditionee getting dropkicked in training and then still somehow ending up getting her in UUG(K) or UUG(2) instead, that'd honestly be one of the more entertaining turns of events in the UUG universe
