Hey there. I've been really into the chinese string instrument 'erhu' lately, and I've been on the hunt for J-pop songs that make use of them! I feel like I've definitely heard it in H!P songs before but I can't remember which, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any they could point me towards!

The closest I've found is the UUG song "Kimi to Iu Kasetsu"

Songs by other idols are fine, too! I'm just really craving this sound in pop music lately, haha. Another example os Flower's "Nettaigyo no Namida"

Thank you to anyone who can help me out on this hunt! :D

I'm pretty sure they're using an erhu in this one!

^ Yes they do! Thank you, that's perfect. There are a lot of H!P songs (including that one) that I've yet to hear, so I knew asking around here would get me some results. And that song is really beautiful, I've always loved Yuko's voice.

Another song that uses erhu (as brought to my attention in this interview) is Morning Musume's Mushoku Toumei Na Mama De, from Rainbow 7. I've been listening to this song for years and somehow never picked up on the fact that erhu is used in it ^^;
