Announced on the Hello! Project website, Tsugunaga Momoko will be releasing a 15th anniversary commemorative album, “♡ Arigatou Otomomochi ♡” on June 21. The album will include 3 discs:

Disc 1: “Mo” - Mou Ichido Arigatou ♥ (Thank you once again ♥ ) - Momochi cover songs
Disc 2: “Mo” - Momochi-senpai Arigatou ♥ (Thank you Momochi-senpai ♥ ) - First release of Country Girls songs
Disc 3: “Chi” - Choice Arigatou ♥ (Thank you for your choices ♥) - Fan picked songs!

The fan voting for disc 3 will take place May 1 - May 8 on this website of every song that Momochi has recorded in her 15 year tenure. (One vote per e-mail)

Don't singles and albums chart on different charts? I can't see these having an effect each other.

It's just you don't see H!P releases on the same day anymore at least not as frequent as it used to be

This is an interesting concept for an album, and fitting that the last H!P member of a whole era is not just getting a solo song/single, but a solo album Interested to see if there'll be maybe 1-2 original songs thrown on here.

Though does Disc 2 count as Country Girls' 1st album? This feels like kind of an awkward way to collect the CG songs, imo.

Which is made even stranger that the CG songs are songs you can vote on for the 3rd disc.

EDIT: Oh, so it's unreleased Country Girls songs for Disc 2

That means we might get

-Mousou Rehearsal

-VIVA!! Barairo no Jinsei

-Rhythm ga Yondeiru Zou!

-Idol Sotsugyou Chuui Jikou!

But we could get more new songs or the Country Musume covers?

Strange concept in the first view, but nice. I think Momochi owned it, but if they include a Country girls album on disk 2 it will be strange. But better than nothing :arrow:

yeah, it's kinda weird to have a "CG album" in disc 2 ^^;

but I think it's ok since the songs are unreleased CG songs (no sure if it's new songs only or also includes covers)

and CG will release "Country Girls Music Video Clips Vol.1" on May 24

Make this the best album H!P has ever put out, especially since UFA is letting us vote for what songs we want on the album. My vote is on Honto no Jibun. That song is such a bop and reminds me of my childhood :sob:
