Anyone here is a fan or like to watch Sion Sono's movies?

 

I just recently became sort of like a fan of his works. A few movies that I like are:

 

1. Strange Circus

2. Suicide Circle

3. Noriko's Dinner Table

4. Love Exposure

5. Exte

6. Tag

 

And a couple that are just so-so such as Why Don't You Play In Hell, Coldfish and The Virgin Psychics.

I watched Tokyo Tribe a couple weeks ago and found it beautifully bizarre. It made me want to watch Shinjuku Swan, but I haven't investigated any of his older movies at all. Though, I did watch the Minna Esper tv series (he wrote for and directed half of the episodes)

All Sono's last movies are shit, but a lot of his films are exceptional: Noriko's Dinner Table, Cold Fish, Love Exposure, Strange Circus, Land Of Hope... and i like his first experimental works too.
