I guess my thought that the songs weren't actually sister group songs was right. I get the theme of all the selections except for Sayanee's song. With the 5th sister group coming I think there is a chance we won't get as many sister group songs on AKB48 singles anymore but see more of these types of senbatsus.

 

Wish they would have pick Tatsuya for 1 of these songs and thank god they picked Goto Moe, can't afford to lose her yet.

 

I finally ordered the 3 regular types,esp. since the N46 album is coming out too, and this will be the least amount of vote I will have since I started voting.

Sasshi: There's a comment from a listener: "Don't you think there're too many fixed centers?" Also this time the centers are from SKE and HKT. I guess there're fans who want some young member from AKB. Well, next is the SSK single, but for the single after that, maybe fans want young members ...

Aki-P: I always think about it, but there's a wrong idea to begin with. There's no need to change a fixed center. I don't think it's necessary to remove a fixed center just to bring a new center (that's not what I think about new idea), I always think which member (even members who center songs very often) would be interesting to be used in a specific situation that could result in a new idea. (Note that it's what Aki-P thinks and the decision for the center doesn't depend only on him.)
For example, in "Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai", I used Shimazaki because she has impact after all, she was always interesting because she was salty and there was nobody like her in the idol world before.

Sasshi: I see. You wanted to use that characterist of her in that song ...

Miichan: I see.

Aki-P: I don't know if that was the right decision. There might be members who thought: "What's that? So, is this what they mean for hard work?" People who think hard work should be measured in another form must not have agreed with Shimazaki as the center. But there's no way to know it if we don't try. I'm always thinking how to bring a new idea.

^ Erm tbh AKB has done the "Nogi style" first. Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou, Sakura no Shiori, So long etc. Its just that Nogi has seem to adopted it as their primary style. Also for me a big differece is the vocal arrangement between the groups.

^it's not a case of "who did it first". it's simply nogi have set that style as their standard, akb on the other hand have a range of styles, but you mostly think of upbeat happy songs like aitakatta, hebirote, iiwake, kfc, love trip etc, with school uniforms, extravagant outfits, bikini's,and cute stuff, so when they do something similar to nogi's style, that's what it will be referred to as. 

as for the song, i wasn't too fond of it before and i'm still on the fence about it. it's a good song, but it's just not my style of music

I like the song, but it should have been the spring single instead of the hot mess Shoot Sign. They could easily make this Kojiharu's grad song since it fits the theme. The song doesnt really call the summer inside of me and that bums me out. I hope ssk win song is summer themed.

the problem i have with this songs timing is that, don't they usually perform the ballot single's song before the elections? imagine listening to this lowkey depressing song right before the biggest event of the year? id rather hear heavy rotation for the 1000th time.

It's okay if their style reminds of 46 groups sometimes but I hope they keep their identity and they don't decide to turn themeselves into another 46 group just because 46 groups' are more polpular now. However I would like a real summer single again!!

Finally saw the MV.

 

Many complain about the kids being a major part of the music video, but if I read right, this school that is featured is closing. I personally liked the interaction between the members and the students. Kids attend handshake events too

Song is still bland for an election song, though. Something upbeat should be an election song.

 

 

 

But the B sides have been circulating. I do not have links, but I have heard them. Jurina's seem best to me.

I really like the song and the dance is so good! The MV... not so much. Only 8/35 members actually appeared in the MV + Yuria and Annin who were at the centre of the 2nd row (which is useless since they are not participating in the SSK...)
