Uhh hello! I've never written a post here even though I've been here since 2011— but I really needed to ask a question if it isn't a problem!

Do any of you know if the Blu-Ray is region locked? I'm from Europe and I'm scared that if I buy Limited Edition B I won't be able to play it

^ No! All C-ute BD releases have been so far region free. I'm from Europe and I have never had any problem playing C-ute BD-s.

 

^^ @Juriken'14(狩) of course you put up Amazon special version links. There are cheaper normal versions available too.

Also looking at the track list it appears that this one will include original versions of the earlier songs and not the re-recorded 2012 versions.

The 6th disc is definitely worth it Juliette Juliette is a MAJOR trip to listen to. I haven't listened to Namida no Iro in years, and it's very weird to listen to this one and hear the slightly different vocals.

 

And the brand new tracks are stunning.

Her lines was given to Airi, Maimi and Maimai respectively.

 

If she were there until Tokaikko Junjou, I doubted she would hog Maimai's and Nakky's lines.

Wow, it's pretty weird to listen to Namida no Iro with such different lyrics. I think I like Namida no Iro better, the lyrics feel like they flow more naturally on that one. But Juliet Juliet is a nice... umm, souvenir? IDK what the right word would be.

 

The new songs are all so cute and nice~ Loved them all.

 

And as much as I dislike Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku (I find it boring :|), I think I actually like the winter ver.

That is really awesome! Aww, that made me miss Megu I wish she hadn't left. That said, I think Sakura Chirari sounds better because you can tell the girls' voices improved a lot ever since whatever time they originally recorded Yuki ga Chirari (based in the girls' voices, I dare to say Yuki ga Chirari could have been recorded BEFORE even Massara Blue Jeans... The girls sound so unpolished in Yuki ga Chirari in comparison to all their Indie singles...). Plus, Mai's "Sakura Chirari" speaking line sounds so much better than that weird "Yuki ga Chirari" that is its counterpart (I can't even tell who was the one saying that).

Funny how Chisa and Nacky's "Ahh"'s in the choruses of Juliet Juliet got taken over by Maimi and Airi in Namida no Iro... also I noticed they took out the "Whoo" backing vocals in the instrumental break. That was a good choice, I like it better without.

 

This makes me wish we could have heard the extra long Airi lines at the ending of Summer Wind, how it originally was. Or the original b-side to Shouchu Omimai that became an Airi solo, before it was an Airi solo. The girls were talking about it at a recent release event.

 

In regards to Yuki Chirari, I guess they recorded it in summer 2006 to release in the winter but due to Megu's departure, Tsunku changed it a bit and they re-sang it for the new version. I was surprised because I figured they used the same vocals, just re-recorded the "Yuki Chirari" lines since all the other lines in the song are exactly the same lyric-wise... but they re-recorded the whole thing. It's cool though, to hear the original vocals... I find, personally, Sakura Chirari was sung in a more soft tone? Which suits it... they ended the lines more softly. Also, it's amazing how much better even Airi sounds in Sakura - I guess their voices really improved between recordings. Mind you, who knows when they actually recorded Yuki Chirari, given Wakyanai was recorded before Massara.
