While her voice seems to be a little unstable, the confidence in her performances just totally sells! I'm thinking she's pretty much passed Yuhane as my Beyooooonds oshi. I'm always looking for her first whenever there's a video with the whole group.

The new cut does look great but I'll definitely miss it too. I've loved super long hair since I was little. Given the number of extra-long haired Kenshuusei that cut their hair, I feel lucky she kept it as long as she did.

yeah this, and it's not really like it's a bob or anything so it's not really much of a difference in style except for the length lol

Yupp, getting a short cut from previously having hair down to my hips was the best decision ever. I save shampoo, my neck feels better and it takes me only 5 minutes to shower now.

 

To be honest I didn't even realize she cut her hair. It's still long. But it looks a bit "fresher".

Shoulder-long hair like Kitario looks nice, but I think super long hair suits Miimi better.

To be blunt and gentle at the same time...

 

The girls get a variety of hair cuts, including a lot of shorter hair cuts, because the girls are not out there busting their butts to chase your one, personal opinion.  A lot of people, especially a lot of idol fans like short hair, because of the sense of youth & energy it gives.

 

And Okamura's hair isn't "short," anyway.  It's long, but not "super long."  In normal usage Kanazawa at the time of the photo in my avatar is "medium." 

Off the shoulder can be called "short" and not falling to a particular length is "very short" (where a particular length for EACH hair in a part of the style is the target, rather than cutting it so the tips all end in a unified line/curve)

 

Tsunku very much did recommend some members get shorter cuts.  (It's not just about the difficulty or nuisance of hair-care).  AFAIK Oda Sakura when she joined MoMusu and Danbara Ruru when she joined J=J were both heavily encouraged to cut their hair before joining.

I wonder if the shorter haircuts were more of a psychological thing than an appearance thing? Like to encourage of them to think of themselves different or something.
