100MB/s might just be your LAN connection speed, especially if your ISP is using PPPoE protocol. Your internet bandwidth should be less than that. That's why there might not be any difference since your internet bandwidth might had increased by only a little.my max connection is at 100MBPs.
Supposedly, my parents just upgraded my internet a couple of days ago. But there isnt a difference at all.

Now that I've replaced my crappy old router (well more like relegated it to be my WEP-based access point that don't support WPA), I can run my torrents at full speed without having to reboot the router every few days

I'm European, but I have a really slow speed...
My connection is 18 kb/sec of maximum upload, but I only get 8, the rest is for my brother, who is the one that pays for it

well, in Finland our max is about 24Mbit or something... but that costs a lot more than swedish 24Mbit 1 and 2 Mbit connections are pretty common around here, but there are some really lucky people like Scepter who have 10M :c06: (better connections are available only at the biggest cities)I thought that scandanavian countries also had good b'band? Also Korea is 25Mb+, parts of Taiwan too (so I hear) ...
But as I have heard, Finland has about the second cheapest/fastest connections in Scandinavia so our situation is not that bad
EDIT: oh, and I limit my ul speed to about 10-20k, depending on what files I am seeding... DC+hub takes quite a lot
