There are only 34 profiles, I thought 44 girls had been selected... does that mean the others have been dropped? Or will they be KKS while those whose profiles are up will be the members ?

There's 33, including Sasshii and Naachan. So 13 have declined, which could be for various reasons like needing to move and such.

One thing I forgot to mention after the audition was finished, is what 48G refers to as "Selection" which basically means the following: A final set of girls are picked from the audition, as kenkyuusei. But their position is not 100% guaranteed. There is still a period where management will look at members who just may not cut it for whatever reason. Also, some girls can get cold feet due to this or that. And in this period these girls are removed. So the final-final girls so to speak is what we have when that is over. We're likely there now.
