None of the 5 unreleased songs and a release date this soon?

 

Well at least they will have more handshakes and such but for how long will they have those?

The release is in late flipping April and I can't go to Japan until mid June at the earliest.

I don't like the way UFA is making them sing new songs in concerts recently and keep them unreleased for years.

Nope, it seems like this is a new thing, although all the main singles has had one this year so far.

If they really want to bypass Oricon's new rules they should take the 3 new songs, or the other 2 songs and make them b-sides. Reg/Lim A could have one song, Reg/Lim B could have another, and the SP edition could have an extra song that gets a music video. Fans are gonna be annoyed if all those songs end up on an album a year later so why not just put them on the upcoming single

but out of the singles that have LE SP, MM's single is the only one that have b-sides

yes MM single is only a double A-sides just like this single, but I don't think being a double A-side single is the reason why it got b-sides lol

I don't think this single will have any b-sides.... based on the price of the SP it's too cheap ... only 1700yen (+tax)

YAAAAAAY a new single. I'm actually glad none of the songs ended up being for the single since I don't think they were A side materials. But I would love them for an album.

I think that the chances for a summer album release a bigger this way so this might be in your favor

Now, i read your post in the other thread too. See, even if they don't delay it, there are still some possibilities
They could announce an album:

- Radio
- During ～NEXT ONE～ tour that last till april.
- Or most likely, during their Hall Tour.

Nakano Zun Plaza date 5/3 (5/4 announcement of their budokan concert last year ) so, if they announce it there, the release date could be for july or late june, who knows.

Yeah it seems like we're gonna start getting Double A-sides more frequently with Special editions that have B-side tracks. That way people are obligated to get the Reg Editions for the trading card, the Limited for the event lottery tickets, and the SP edition for the bonus tracks + Dance versions. Pretty smart on UF's part.

I quite like this new format that H!P seems to be introducing with a double A-side single with Limited and Regular editions and then a SP edition to have some B-sides added!!
I really enjoyed J=J's last single Dream Road was such an amazing song and I loved all of the A-sides but Keep On! got boring very quickly.
J=J might not get as much attention as other H!P groups but I still love following them as their line up is very strong!

according to both CDJapan and Amazon, there are no b-sides

... just like I said


since LE A/B = 1600yen, LE SP = 1700yen, and RE A/B = 1000yen

the PV is 100yen each, the DVD itself is 500yen lol

in the MM single, Morning Miso soup and its PV are free, but Get you! is 100yen ... I think.... (therefore songs/instrumentals are 100yen each... and the CD itself is 600yen? )

so I was correct that the SP is too cheap to have b-sides

Get you and Miso Soup are tie ins so we don't know if they aren't just more expensive because of that. If Juice=Juice had B sides they might not affect the overall price. We should just wait and see.

For Tsubaki Factory the SP edition was 'just' the edition with the dance shots on the dvd. That single has 3 a-sides though

I think for Morning Musume they included Get You and Morning Misoshiru there because they had to add them somewhere

They probably couldn't put Morning Misoshiru as an a-side because Masaki is in that song but doesn't participate in the single

 

I actually don't think that there will be any b-sides, but who knows, maybe they will surprise us
