Who is J☆Dee'Z? They are a dance and vocal group under Sony Music. Originally a four member group, they debuted back in 2014 with the double A-side single "Beasty Girls/Let the music flow". Their fourth member, meik, left in November 2016, and the girls decided to continue on as a group of three. The girls were chosen from an audition held by Sony Music back in 2012 which focused heavily on dance and vocal skills.

Only know them because Moa of BM is friends with at least one of the girls. I saw some of their tweets when they went to New York (?) and performed in public places, street musician style. Subways, random streets, stuff like that. Earned my respect with that.

Meik was my favourite and I haven't bought any of their singles after she went on hiatus (and eventually left).   I want to keep on supporting JDee'Z but I'm just not ready yet...

Watching their performance for Answer in this release event looks so fun

The intro dance and the fact that they don't need to use mics is really interesting

Kinda makes me wonder if those who were in the back could hear properly...unless they had a small crowd.

Kinda like a goodbye song for Meik?? This rendition sounds sooo good. Their old line live was deleted and I never saved it, so I'm kinda glad I found it again.

I almost forgot to post this, but Answer ranked 16th on the first week! 

I think this is pretty good in comparison to their other singles.

I just knew about them about few months ago while tuning to their radio show on FM Fuji. Unfortunately the radio show will end this month.

 

It makes me sad when a great group like this went under Sony Music Japan, the world would never get to watch them on Youtube.

JDZ has announced their 6th single!! They haven't revealed the title yet, but oddly enough, they released the title of the coupling song

The coupling song is called "Tsutaetai koto, chanto tsutaenakucha"

 

From the title, it looks like it'll be a ballad.

Still no details on the name of their 6th single A-side title. Also, their new song "Colorful Jump" will not be included on their 6th single.

It was the reason for her hiatus, but I really doubt that's why she graduated... Her solo presence popped up almost immediately after her graduation, and she's dancing as much as ever. Going off the songs she's previewed so far, I'm guessing it was a difference in direction.

Love the song, but the dance is a bit too frenetic to me.

Today is "Melody"'s release date!

 

I hope they do decent on the oricon charts. I feel like their popularity has gone up since Answer.
