sometimes I feel it's very noticeable with h!p though. People like to dismiss pitch correction because they think it's bad, but it's sooo common and normal that we really shouldn't think much of it, but they do use it most of the time!@Obsidian I hear you, it's h!p so I wouldn't be surprised if they cut costs in that department either
(jk)PS: just want to add that PC will not necessarily make the girls hit the right note, it will help stabilize the pitch. So if the note is very off, it will sound off, but stable. That's what makes it sound very natural when used usually. When we really hear the "autotune" effect, it's because heavier corrections were made (like in DVDs or such) btw I'm in no way an expert, I just have some experience with performing live and such.
