So based on the Hina Fest it seems that from now BNM will be sung by just 9 of the members, Ayumi, Masaki, Ogata and Maria are like a Dance Team for this song. Nobody expected that.

^ I think it'll be until they finish this tour, I think after this tour they'll perform it normally since they won't be doing the flag performances for other tours.

In that BNM performance they all seem like they are about to cry even Reina who is always smiling looks sad

^^They didn't use the flags this time so i doubt it. And usually, when someone is'sent in the dance team, she stay in it (Haruka in My Vision for example).

The choreo was already pretty messy, but combined with an afterthought dance team on a centre stage...   I wonder if they stuck with this tour version of the choreo because it's the only way they've worked Maachan into it? I wouldn't be surprised.

What a surprise with Morning Misoshiru . And it's what makes the single to not look that worse than the 62nd on the 3rd week in Recochoku but still doing better in Itunes since none of the videos ranked at that time.

So I guess this is the farthest this single could go. I hope MM songs can mantain for more than a week at least, and since did better than the 62nd single I can't complain. Better to go step by step.

I'm really bad at following dance choreos and all but I did this for kicks and except for some parts the dance is fairly easy. Ignoring coordinating with other people ofc.

Also I've read in tumblr some comments saying that Eripon got that line in BNM because Maa-chan wasn't in this single...IA it's possible Miki got more lines because of this (I think she would have sang the rap of JJ in any case though), but I think Eripon would have that line anyway. I felt that part was mirroring the first part, 13ki/9ki(leader/sub). Just...wanted to say that lol.

I think Reina's second solo would also would have been Maachan. It seemed weird how since the main/lead vocalists got the big chorus lines as well as the newbie Reina.

The only way that Reina's solo would've gone to Maa-chan is if Maa-chan had been part of the original recording and the management had decided her vocals suited that line best. I realise that some members who fans think don't have great vocals get lines that make people wonder why they got those lines if they're not that great at singing, but I think when the management chooses a certain member to sing a line in a song they're basing it on more than that just a member being good at singing or not. They're also basing it on who can express the feelings portrayed in that particular line in the song.

That being said, Maa-chan is one of the members in the current lineup who can both sing a line well and express the emotion conveyed in that line in song really well, so it is possible that she would've gotten Reina's 2nd solo if she had been able to be part of the original recording for BNM

@maora: Hmm I don't think so. It would have gone to Haruka or Sakura or even Miki if that was the case, imo, instead of a newbie. And that also becomes a Yoko/Kaga duet seconds after so more 13ki. I think Haruka's solo or Miki/Haruna would have been a Maa-chan line.

They seem keen on pushing 13ki in BNM and especially Reina, that even Sakura got like 1 solo compared to her usual.

I don't know I feel there's almost always a pattern in who sings what and a lot of mirroring per generations.

But ofc who knows what would have happen, I just wanted to say I would bet money that Eripon was always going to get that line.

That eripon line would have still been her line with maachan participating in the single, since Mizuki has almost the same line and Yokoyan sings next

 

I think that the DuuSaku line would have been a MaaDuuSaku line, i would say a MaaDuu line but management never pushes MaaDuu in terms of those two singing together so it would be a MaaDuuSaku line or a MaaSaku line

Finally received my copy of this single and country girls in the mail... and I've never been so glad that CDJapan goes to such lengths with its packaging... despite saying fragile on the front, it was absolutely battered up. Like... a gaping hole in one of the corner where you could see a patch of the bright green wrapping paper they use. And this was after a misdelivery to a different address, too LOL.
