Maybe I'm just being too pessimistic but I just can't imagine UFP doing well for her in terms of a solo career. She might flourish as a model though! Her campaigns with Ray have been good!

yeah Amazon keep selling stuff at a discounted price like they don't wanna earn any profit   lol don't know if they wanna steal customers from other stores or they just wanna get rid most of the stuff asap lol

most of the time Amazon is the best choice to get CDs if you use Tenso.
 
but for shipping overseas, I wonder why many of us still choose CDJapan because Amazon always have discounts, and their shipping is not really that expensive (really cheap if you buy a lot) .....

sorry again for offtopic talking about Airi, but...

1.) it's almost certain she'll not continue as an idol even if she want to. She's 22... too old to "restart"... like I said a halfassed group is probably the best option out there for her and solo is really hard to succeed nowadays
2.) no matter if she become talento or singer or whatever, still "artist", not "idol". so yeah she is "not the Airi I fall in love with" even though probably nothing will change lol
3.) transfer to avex or something? nah she's gonna stay in UF FOREVER ... not sure it's the typical Japanese company loyalty or the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset

^ Because he could've chosen them for Berryz and he didn't. They HAD to do something with C-ute so they gave them a group . AN INDIE GROUP!!!! And Berryz got the major debut right away. So, yeah he didn't believe in them. In the beggining they were known as the leftovers. I was there when they were announced. I know Tsunku is the H!P legend and everything but C-ute success is because of their hard work and JUST THAT

 

I just want to point out that Berryz Kobo was never meant to have a stable line up. Tsunku had planned from the start that Berryz Kobo would rotate the Hello! Project KIDS members in/out - if any of the girls were struggling too much or were failing school they would be pulled out and another H!P KID would take her place. So technically all the girls in C-ute weren't doing nothing - they were on standby.

 

There was no reason ever given for why the original 8 girls were chosen over the other 7 girls. We can conclude it wasn't based on age, popularity, singing, dancing, or even which 8 girls were closer to one another. If they went based on age it would have been ZYX version 2. If they went by popularity it would have been Erika, Maimi, Momo, Megumi, Miyabi, Yurina, Risako, and Airi as the starting line up.

 

Tsunku didn't not believe in the members he didn't choose for the starting line up - he didn't believe a group of elementary girls could handle the pressure. I feel he really did think the group line up would change often until the girls were older and he put them in permanent groups. There is nothing to show he disliked Erika, Maimi, Megumi, Saki, Airi, Chisato or Mai. Without knowing HOW the 8 girls who would become Berryz were chosen you can't say for certain that staff didn't put all 15 names in a hat and pick 8 names out or that they weren't picked based on trying to create a well balanced group - a good dancer, a good singer, a character, a beauty, an intellect, etc.

 

You have to remember Hello! Project KIDS were the first of their kind for Hello! Project. The staff hadn't worked with such young kids before and were in unknown territory. We are very lucky that most of the Hello! Project KIDS stuck with it for as long as they did. I'm sure staff back in 2004 had their doubts any of the girls would last 2-3 years max. Just look at how many girls drop out after a few months of training or how many girls drop out of a group due to a change of heart.

 

Also about the indie group thing - they put a lot of money, time, and effort into Berryz Kobo's debut and they weren't a smashing hit. I don't think we have ever seen another H!P group given a huge press conference to announce their line-up or debut date. It seems like Hello! Project have been playing it safe ever since and going the indie route first to get a stable fan base. Mano Erina, S/mileage, Juice=Juice, Kobushi Factory, and Tsubaki Factory have all followed C-ute's footsteps by releasing indie singles first.

We had the dance lesson of one of the three last single songs today.
Ah, The dance lesson was so fun.
It is the song that we perform in a music video with team C-ute on Jan 26th.
The choreography is arranged to dance with you all.
You will get happier if you copy the hand moving or dance in our concert, events.
