^Well about the MM era thing. There was a bit of discussion on this not too long ago and we all kinda agreed that the colourful era ended when Sayu graduated. And the new proposed names for the "current" era are Gradation/Prism era. These names were proposed because it was the names of the tours in '15 and they were related to colour as 9,10 and 11th gen are from the colourful era. So, unofficially you could say that the "current" era is gradation or prism era. But yeah they really need to officially called something else.
