^ It has, but 48G stans more or less decried it the work of antis, and the video series documenting these infringements is obviously the work of an anti, but that doesn't mean any of it isn't true. I myself was pretty bewildered when HKT's Chameleon no Joshikousei was released and not a single fan pointed it that the chorus melody was pulled directly from one of H!P's most beloved songs, but that speaks to how blind you can get when you're too devoted to one group and one perspective.




Now, I don't think there's anything wrong necessarily with enjoying the AkiP songs, in the same way you can enjoy a remix or a song using samples more than the original, but it's still important to acknowledge that the original creators of the music did not get proper credit or compensation in the AkiP versions and that this is a consistent problem with him and the music he puts out under his name. This isn't the work of antis, it's not a conspiracy, it's pretty obvious that he pulls riffs and melodies and sometimes lyrics from other songs. So I will keep listening to Lucky 7 and enjoying it, but I'm not about to start heralding any AkiP group for its music because of how much of it is stolen.

That said, some of the original songs are bangers so please try to seek them out when you can to give those artists and writers your support, too!

Oh wow, I honestly forgot I posted here because I thought no one would reply. I'm really surprised to learn so many songs are infringements of other songs...but still, a lot of them I felt are unique enough to stand separately. Anyway, I still enjoy the groups and songs either way. But my husband says thank you for the info.
